Bottom half finish. One win in their last eleven games. Two wins since Feb 13th. Minus 6 goal difference. Spent the Matty Taylor money on a “striker” who scored one league goal in 39 games. Not a ******* chance that The Post will mention any of the above.6 points

Chernobyl = nickname for the cabbage patch they call home. He said that they deserve that, not to suffer from a nuclear explosion...3 points

Thanks mate. A timely intervention in the "who was right on the first round @Stortz or me debate"!2 points

The black spot of doom hexed Haye! I thought Bellew dictated the first with his jab, he couldn't miss with it all night. It was a genuinely excellent performance from him on a big stage in fairness, despite Haye being shite- even @Northern Red might have to give him some props! (he won't haha) edit- you're right @Owl Visiting, that third was 10-7, not 10-82 points

Let’s not let a haye sob story take away from what like you said was a pretty much punch perfect performance from bellew2 points

A bit like saying the best thing about a delicious steak is when, having been digested, it drops out of your body as a turd.2 points

Spot on,I paid for the Haye klit fight with his dodgy toe and he wasn’t willing to show heart that night so ever since I would never pay when the money talker is involved1 point

He was a great Cruiserweight tbf. You don't become undisputed champion at any weight without being more than decent, and his speed and cumulative punching power was top drawer then. His body let him down later in his career because he has always been a bit of a playboy rather than living the life imo.1 point

Absolutely, perfect performance. Some quality boxing. Sounds like Haye was injured pre fight again though.1 point

Remember on the post some writer got very giddy that their favourite little putrid club might of accumulated more points than us this season. Like I said in another post, 13th for them in a pisspot league is fantastic.1 point

More defeats than victories. Having to play in the Checkatrade Trophy again. Joining the FA Cup in the 1st round again. Others will add to this list of woes I'm sure.1 point

As long as haye is fit he wins,he knows after the first fight bellew can’t really hurt him with even one leg. Haye within 6 I think and then hopefully they both just shut up and retire1 point

Excuse me. I need no #geologic to know that when they were relegated out of the entire football league, it was a good thing. Of course, according to them they never actually left the football league, participating instead in the newly formed fifth tier.1 point

We've only had 2 seasons in L1 in the last 12 years. 13/14 we averaged 11900 despite spending most of the season in or around the bottom 4 scraping draws at home with teams like Shrewsbury, Colchester and Leyton Orient. Do you remember that season? 14/15 AG was undergoing major redevelopment work that limited the capacity. We averaged 12000 in a season which saw many games sold out to home fans. I know it doesn't fit your 'script' but Rovers have failed to average over 10k for the last 4 decades. Our crowds may not be great at times but they're always better than the Gas, no matter what they or you think.1 point
-
So what was our capacity that season? Lets not pretend that the redevelopment works weren’t happening. Did you visit Ashton Gate that season? If you did, surely you noticed how many times we had sold the full allocation of home tickets? The following season we had, statistically, the most full stadium on average in the league despite spending over half the season in the bottom 3. Rovers had a decent season (flirting with the Play Offs at one point) with a manager, owners and players they say they’re happy with and they’ve failed to get over 9k home fans in all but 3 games. For a club whose fans claim to be something special whilst constantly slagging off our support that’s pathetic.1 point
