Thank you for this. a “ copper” can get involved in an offcial capacity if they have honest belief that a criminal offence MAY have been committed. as previously stated I have looked at cctv from the last game of the season and found no evidence of such an offence . However as this has now been resurrected by both sets of fans I will now speak to people who wish to give me evidence/ information about the offence. This happens a lot in the world of policing and is no different to neighbourhood disputes / harassment cases. Fyi I am here on this forum in an offcial capacity, hence the police crown on my name I do not investigate offences based on opinions, just facts that can be proven in each individual case. I am not on this forum as a Bristol city fan, although it is a fact that I support them. I offerred the opportunity to go into the gashead forum in the same capacity however as you yourself may have noticed this does not appear to be something that Bristol rovers fans on that forum want at this time.

Said it before and I'll say it again! If you don't like it or don't trust what she is saying just put her on ignore and let the rest of us make our own minds up. Unfortunately you come across as a very bitter person who seemingly must have had issues with the police in the past. Have you taken up her invitation to see how policing works on a matchday?

As a mod then , please answer this. Why do you ban almost every city fan than joins your forum ? For somebody who claims to know about the law Your post is actually laughable and completely clueless Without ripping the post apart word by word Ill summarise for you to keep it simple 1 ’Henbury Gas has (repeatedly) claimed a criminal offence has taken place 2 The Police , with a bit more than ‘fancy getting involved’ or ‘sticking their noses in’ , actually have a duty to investigate the matter to a sufficient degree to firstly establish if a criminal offences has taken place Which is what they appear to be doing Hope that’s explained simply for you And May I suggest you keep your area of legal ‘expertise’ ( ) to your Gashead mates

@Gashead1981 If you really are a MOD... trust me when I say you don't want to let her on your forum. She has been proven to have lied over and over and again, and when gets caught out she ignores everything. Police should be banned from this forum.... so don't let her on yours.

Did see some sags in the bus station ,four of them pissed up after the game ,taunting others there for not joining in with the dreadful dirge they were singing .The fact that it wasnt other England fans but mainly shoppers making their way home seemed to be missed by them .I knew they were sags when they started on some guy in the queue that they recognised as a City fan ,giving him abuse .He did give some back but was outnumbered 4 to 1 .They really did come across as young bully boys gobbing off in front of women and kids .Probably asleep by 8 oclock back at Mummy and Daddies house .

It’s almost like they don’t want to find out what actually happened. You’d think they would be desperate to see some thuggish ‘shithead’ brought to justice after attacking a disabled man? I wonder why they don’t seem so keen to get the truth as we do? Maybe the Saghead who’s been posting on here today can tell us...

I also fail to follow the logic that an accusation on a public forum that a disabled person was seriously assaulted in our stadium is none of our business. If I were to make a similar claim about an incident in their stadium would they ignore it with a shrug on the grounds that it was a private matter for OTIB? Nor indeed do I see how such an allegation of a serious offence, one that has not only not been withdrawn but has been revived, is no business of the police. I can only speculate that there are other reasons for them wanting discussion to be shut down.

(A) when there were suggestions that the police had been heavy handed in a home game last season, those on the receiving end of what looked like was robust policing never made a complaint, but following witness reports it was investigated. (B) it might be that they have not yet found evidence based on a report that has changed several times since it was first published. (C) And this is why police investigate things. To try an establish the facts. (D) Not all crimes require a victim to complain. If for example, the investigation shows people behaving in a way that would put others at risk, they might be charged for a different offence. (E) The person who raised this has been quite clear that a former Bristol City season ticket holder was assaulted and had teeth knocked out, such was their distress and post traumatic stress, the were damaged sufficiently that they then wanted to watch the Gas. Saying there is nothing to investigate is sweeping some pretty serious reports under the carpet. And if this did happen and they are able to identify those responsible, then the match day experience of others will likely be enhanced by those people no longer being welcome in the stadium.

Right everyone I have spoken at length to henbury gas and with his permission can confirm I will be meeting him Tuesday both sets of fans want the same thing, an investigation to clear up what actually happened and that will be happening. i now won’t be able to comment about this case until that investigation is complete .

It would be good to put this firmly to bed, or to have an investigation, it’s dragged on long enough.

Well what a response on the other forum, clearly the fans there are not happy for me to go on and therefore I won’t. I will take henbury gas up on his offer and if he is monitoring I will come and see you Tuesday at 1500hrs !
