Hold on this can't be true. Surely they can't be blaming the officials... Didn't one of them once try to claim that referees that were being fast tracked up the leagues were always given games at their 'stadium' to see how they cope with 'large crowds and a hostile atmosphere'. Clearly all the hotshot referees were busy this weekend. Or maybe he was right. Maybe they did get a referee on the up but unfortunately he crumbled under the weight of pressure offered by the massive 8k attendance. Guess that's his career over.

Totally agree RedM. I thought we were robbed or perhaps mugged by a ref who got a lot wrong all afternoon. It's amazing how much cheating by rugby players goes unnoticed by refs and line judges. Obstruction, deliberate wandering around in offside positions, clear forward passes, crooked lineouts and even more crooked feeding at scrums. The only bright side was that apart from a few, 99% of the fans were in their seats, watching the game and giving both teams lot of vocal support. A good match with atmosphere, even if we got the rough end of the luck. It proves once again for me that cheap tickets for Micky Mouse cup ties at rugby have a significant number of attendees who are just on a social piss up and don't give a toss about the match.

Tough for refs over there, mind. All that loose canvas flapping around. "Is that me lino flagging, or is it that b tent come loose again?"

The same belter posted this about Scunnys first goal.... It wasn't off side. He was offside but Clarke came running in just as he shot and played him on side. There was another player who was off side but as he didn't touch the ball he wasn't interfering with play. If all the Roves players had stood still then yes it would have been offside anyone know wtf he is on about ? or what sport / rules he is wittering about Hilarious
