That’s why they brand themselves ‘loyal and true’ as no matter what is thrown at them by whoever’s in charge, they lap it all up bend over and get shafted without so much of a peep. Yet anyone who posts over on that lovefest of a forum about voicing an opinion and making a stand they are labelled a ted, or come out with, we ain’t like them s’heads who kick off and whinge at the slightest little thing, and no more is said. Here’s the thing Saggies, we don’t kick off at every little thing but if there is something seriously not going well or needs changing we will make sure that they know a11 points

My little boy's 6th birthday party tomorrow with 20 kids at Kingsdown leisure centre , so I'll ******* need a drink in the evening haha! My chances of staying up from that to the fight to Millwall at home on Sunday are limited tbh, but I'm going to give it a good go! edit, my missus has done a great job on the cake6 points

LANSDOWN'S JOBS FOR THE BOYS. NUMBER 1. BRIAN TINNION. Danny Wilson had lost us the play off final and had failed to get us promoted in four full seasons. Lansdown wanted to cut costs, so they parted company, and then, suddenly, without advertising the job or running interviews (unprofessional), he appointed Tinnion as player-manager. From nowhere. He had no experience. This would cost us one of our very best players. The fans were bemused. The dressing room was bemused. Tinnion always implied he did not have the support of the dressing room, and that there were bad eggs in there not play2 points

They are discussing the Checkatrade trophy and peering into an unpleasant future should City's U23 team play in it.. http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/13376/checkatrade-rethink?page=2 When City eventually come in their thousands to laugh at us because we are playing their 'U23/ do what you like' team against our 'play your firsts or else' team - who that goes will be be able to hide from the fact we are being ridiculed? Definatly should play the kids. I could not even begin to think how bad it would be loosing to the teds kids whilst we play our strongest side! Don’t think it would be pos2 points

The move back to Gloucester is finally progressing. The club are going back to Meadow Park, with the playing surface being raised above the 2007 flood levels. Last I saw the ground had been raised the necessary amount, and they're hoping to be back in time for next season. Previously there were big plans for the new stadium, but they've changed to a policy of getting back to the City first, then developing the ground over time. Can't come soon enough, as there's a whole generation of new fans that have been lost and plenty more that have not followed the club on it's nomadic past 11 years. The2 points

Also, they recently revised their stadium plans to speed up the build. http://www.gloucestercityafc.com/revised-plans-stadium-released/2 points

If anyone started such a group, they would instantly be outed as gert shitheads, and be ostracised. As it's not possible for such a true and loyal group of best fans in the world to have such dissenters within their midst, so they must be Teds. Long may that head in the sand attitude continue.2 points

I think I read somewhere that when they got into the rebuilding they found all sorts of problems with the soil stability and there were (I think) some contaminated areas as well. It does seem to be dragging on though but I guess they need to get it right with all the correct drainage and flood defences in place.1 point

Tough one with JoJo. The only thing we know is they seem to trust JoJo even if he isn’t the same level as Max. Sesay I get the impression is a raw physical talent that needs a lot of grooming before he is even close. Wollacott has been on the bench for the senior side many times. He has been kept at the club for awhile now too. I get the impression someone at BCFC rates him enough that he has stayed this long. So for the level he is going to I reckon he could finally start making his mark. In the few times I have seen him play he has looked alright1 point

They've been to Altrincham and Alfreton, lost to Eastleigh at home. Theyve even punched horses, 18 years below... 18 years below...1 point

Max had a stellar second half of the season with relegation threatened Solihull Moor, keeping several clean sheets and getting them away from relegation fairly comfortably.1 point

Have to admit when I watched the video above that I was suprised that he's only around 215lb. That's sort of weight a cruiser steps to. I guess if he's got the power he doesn't need the extra weight.1 point

True, but it goes both ways, just because someone is a good player it doesn't mean they'll be a bad manager. It's almost a case of players who've had a great playing career at expected to turn down bigger jobs and start lower down just because they're unproven. Any manager /coach who is given a chance at a big opportunity would take it, why should ex-players with a great career be any different?1 point

God knows but after a night on the beer and staying up to watch it I will be roaming the streets at 8 to find a few millwall top lads to knock out1 point

I see from Points West that Rovers have started a scheme to help fans suffering from depression and anxiety. I know there's not that many who follow them, but that's one hell of an undertaking!1 point

Yes, me. I decided that as I own all of my companies 100% with no outside shareholders or any other stakeholder (such as fans) that it was unlikely that anyone would ever be concerned about nepotism. Other than pea brained t w a t s.1 point

Why don't we look at the managers who weren't jobs for the boys then? O'driscoll, coppell, mcinnes, cotterill. All of them have a worse record at championship level than LJ...1 point

Awww someone pissed on this Sag’s chips tonight They're losing 2-1 currently, would love for Harrison to come off the bench and add insult to injury. If there is one small saving grace to our situation currently, it is that the Sh1t could be about to lose 5 in a row too. EDIT: 2-2 almost instantly ffs1 point

I know I'm on my own when I say this but good on him, if the board aren't backing a manager I think the manager has every right to fire off some shots. Imagine going to work as a builder and being given only sand to build with and then told you're doing a shit job when you make a bloody sandcastle1 point
