I think I agree with most of that!
It does seem Coughlan is popular among our support at the moment, 2 wins out of 3 and some good performances obviously help, as does the fact that he isn't Steve Cotterill. He seems a decent bloke, but I will reserve judgement for a few more games yet. I suspect he will get it till the end of the season, and if he keeps us up, he will get the gig.
No doubt if we then have a bad start to next season, people will be moaning that we went for the cheap option, and will finally call for his head after it was discovered he once played a game at Ashton Gate and said something along the lines of 'the changing rooms were quite nice' .
