  3. Just on a point of pedantry (apologies @BS4 on Tour...!) they're offering their wannabe season card holders the opportunity to pay by 'installments' (ie the US spelling of what we, in the UK spell as 'instalments'). Perhaps the Horfield Hillbillies have Brexited before the rest of us and are already working assiduously with allies to Make America Shite Again.

  5. Just had a look at his Facebook page. He is indeed a Typical deluded Gashead. Taking the mickey out of AG when we played F C Twente with a picture of the Lansdown stand sparsely populated. What he doesn't say is, that it was only the Dolman which was open that night with an attendance of 5,330, only about 2k off their average home support for league matches. Wouldn't they love that for a pre season friendly? He even thinks the rugby lot had bigger crowds at their lost/stolen spiritual home. As for wrote off all our debt, I've news for them, they haven't, they just transferred the debt to themselves (Dwayne Sports), which might need repaying anytime soon. They were actually in better shape when they stole the rugby ground and started collecting rent from the rugby club but, it started to go downhill pretty soon after that. The Stefan Payne signing went well! I do think he believes this shit, every profile update on his page, features the ground stealers. The thing is, other pillocks of similar intellect will read it and believe it.

  6. Coming out of match in Malaga a few years ago (just after Cotts had been appointed) a guy shouted out that he recognised my Bristol accent. It was Gary Penrice who then walked with us for about 20 minutes talking Bristol football. He was the European scout for Everton and told me Cotts would do a great job for us. How right he was. Have to say we had a great conversation and he had nothing but good things to say about City and was a very humble guy. It’s the way of football though that we can hate a rival player with such a passion that it’s quite a shock to actually meet them and find that they are quite likeable.

  10. And let that be an end to any talk of AJ ducking that useless windmilling shitehouse. Wilder was offered $100m by DAZN for this EXACT fight plus 2 guaranteed v Joshua and he turned it down. Breazeale is an absolute no mark who AJ iced whilst barely breaking sweat 7 fights ago. Stop holding the WBC belt hostage Deontay ffs. edit- just read it's not PPV so he's getting $4/5m tops for this. And he's turned down $100m? Bizarre.

  11. The saddest thing of all is that, beside the sags losing all their new seating, after the factory burnt down, it still looks in a better state than the Mem ...

  13. In true Sag style they went completely over the top with their celebrations in attracting new owners regardless of whether it was going to bring them any future success or not. They were desperate, absolutely desperate, and Mr “Hello, unlucky da shit” was your typical Sag. Not just content with having new owners, but just couldn’t resist the temptation to have a dig at City. This is why they are the gift that keeps on giving. Had he not mentioned “da shit” then he wouldn’t have got half as much stick, but he couldn’t help himself and totally dropped his pants without waiting to see exactly how the Al Qadis would run the club. He wasn’t alone. The “It’s official, oldest, wealthiest club in the West” picture came out, goading Ted’s. Most sensible people (which was most City fans and a number of cautious Sags) wanted to see some evidence that the Al Qadis were going to invest and move the Sags forward before getting caught up in the hype, but right from the very first interview with Hamer you got the impression that the takeover wasn’t quite the scenario that Sags had been spouting off about whilst goading us. If you watch Steve Hamers interviews and check out his body language (not what he says) you can see that he is very guarded. I smelt a rat very early on, but it seems that deluded Sags were caught up in finishing 2nd in the Conference, having an open top bus tour to celebrate and carrying Wally down Gloucester Road like he was some sort of Messiah, even though all he had done at the time was to invest in a new scoreboard. Now the polish is well and truly off of the turd the Sags are acting like victims again. Well Saggies, you set yourselves up for a massive fall. You should have been content with still having a club instead of giving it the biggun to the Teds. You will never learn though. You are driven by impulse, a deep rooted jealousy of anything and everything City and a constant belief that you are hard done by with off the scale delusions of grandeur. As long as you continue to be like that this thread will always exist, as will your gifts.
