  1. Then stop posting in a thread about a lower league football club. It's not rocket science

  2. It is bizarre; it looks like the marketing would go something like "Have you ever wondered what your partner would look like as a multiple amputee?"

  4. Absolutely agree! In our darkest hour those sags complained at the council wanting to help us out and squealed and sulked until the offer of help for City was withdrawn.... then the club with ‘da massive away following’ tried to steal Ashton Gate from us - they’ve got the morals of an alley cat, so, childish or not, if the council offers to help them we must complain and demand similar treatment - there was a precedent set in 1982, which I’ll never forget - similar treatment for both clubs was what they demanded back then (until we got nothing when we were most in need of help) so it must apply today .... there’s a principle and a precedent

  6. Swindon fan here nobody our end had any interest in the game last night and that included the manager hence why some youth players were included. As above comments have said the competion is a complete waste of time and games are treated as friendliest so it could never be deemed as a derby match Also saving their money for Salford tomorrow with over 1300 tickets sold and much more appealing than a meaningless game against the Gas

  9. Didn't think you came on this thread. Shame you're trying to ruin this one as well. Course you could take your own advice and not come on it. I'm gonna take some of yours and block you, as you make every thread you infiltrate about yourself, and it's boring.

  10. “Let's face it... you've definitely dreamt of pulling on that blue and white shirt, playing in front of a packed crowd at the memorial stadium!“ Haven’t the players even only dreamt of that doing that?

  15. If it is, then he really should seek better advice before making big decisions. Apparently his last one was to become a professional footballer and look where that’s landed him..!

  19. We are talking about the cup game on Tuesday, hence me pointing out our awful record against non league teams in that competition. If you are trying to point out that we were recently a non league side, I already knew that

  21. Like what? How many other Lower League clubs go out of their way to embarrass themselves on a regular basis?

  22. Proves you know F All as to why this thread actually exists, here’s a tip I find rather useful - If I come across a thread that I either know nothing about or have nothing worthy of adding then I don’t post on it. Try it.

  23. ...and that is a hell of a regular occurrence. Keeping up with all the dumb shit that comes out of that club is a full time hobby.

  24. The answer is the same as it has always been; a dedicated thread means those that don't want to read it don't have to open it. The alternative is 1,200* separate threads for each and every time they do something stupid. * (it's actually nearly 1,200 pages and nearly 60,000 posts)

  28. The business was started by one of Rodman's brothers. There are several websites, offering various personalised items for humans and dogs (cue the DC jokes!), some of them are actually quite good if you're looking for something a bit different for a present.

  31. The problem isis that he has a loyal following in an election in what will be a low turn out in next May's election, never missed voting in an election in my life and have always put my X loyally in the Labour box but after he stitched up South Bristol by shifting the arena to S. Glos I cannot vote for this man.

  32. Mayor perhaps would be better suited to push for the Arena to built at the Fruit Market.

  33. The manager isn't popular, which I find a bit odd. We looked pretty much doomed under Clarke but Coughlan got us out of it with plenty to spare and this season, despite seemingly not getting much help from upstairs, we find ourselves near the play offs. Unsurprisingly many are pissed off with the lack of progress off the pitch and I also think (though I have no figures to back this up) that we have an ageing fan base who just aren't as enthusiastic as they once were. As I said, it's a bit of a long story, but it would have proved very awkward if I didn't go.

  34. Not at all- the more that stay away in this competition the better.
    1 point
  35. Don't knock the ones that stay away, knock the ones that attend in this case, a decent competition has become a PL reserves kick about...I would like to think (god forbid) that if we were ever in this cup again we would stay away and not support it.
