For all the stick we give them, for all the enjoyment they give us, I thought their tweet today about Afobe was class. Fair play to the gas.6 points

Plenty will have stayed away today because the stands that they usually don’t go in, aren’t available to not go in today, so, on that basis, they won’t be going..!6 points

No, that’s common place for them. It’s not the first time they’ve stopped supporting a team from Bristol and gone to follow one in Bath instead..! ?4 points

i personally would not like to play rovers in the next round we have nothing to gain but a lot to lose i reckon plymouth will get a bigger gate in the replay4 points

4 FA cup ties in one season for Rovers. Almost unheard of..! I’d love them to draw us in tomorrow’s 3rd round draw, and then lose their replay..!4 points

Amen Fordy. Very respectful and, if the position was reversed, I would expect nothing less from us and BCFC. Their Manager called it very well after their cup game today, no rivalry when something awful happens and this is truly tragic. Thanks Rovers. I will revert to disdain at some point but, as a dad like many of us, Beniks tragedy has affected me today so I thank Rovers and their fans for the respect shown.3 points

... and I think you'll find I wasn't being serious in any way (but, out of interest, did this 'protest' stop them going to football too?)3 points

Think you’ll find the majority of bristol fans are now either city or with no football affiliation. Bristol moving to the gate meant a lot of rovers fans stopped going ‘in protest...’3 points

A Bristol derby would be great tbf Would love to show them how big the difference in class is now.3 points

Don't do that. I thought they'd just nicked it at the end there POST OF THE DAY, WEEK, and probably YEAR. Superb thinking.3 points

That's the magic of having to put your hand in your pocket to buy a ticket to sit in a tent on a chilly winter afternoon. Mind, their hands are more used to being in someone elses pocket most of the time.3 points

Hang on...! I’m sure they made it very clear that if away teams brought 2k to games then they’d get 8k crowds. ooops! ??3 points

I may have found why the Gas have had an upturn in their results. Taken from the Post , their formation may just give them an advantage. ‘ Coughlan could stick with the 3-6-2 that served the Gas well last week ‘3 points

Clearly it’s unfair that the Premier League and.Championship teams don’t have to join until the 3rd round. It undermines the credibility of a once great competition, which errr, ... was better when the lower league clubs and non leagues had the early rounds to themselves and, uh, hang on............. I’ll come back to you on this ?2 points

4413 home fans attending a local derby in the FA Cup. Why are they boycotting this competition too?2 points

I wouldn’t worry mate, if the “11” in your username represents your age or IQ, perhaps the “1883” in hers represents their average home crowd by the end of this season given their ever dwindling numbers?! And the name ‘Bristol Rovers’ didn’t even exist until 1899 so even her username is shite ...2 points

Good question. The answer will appear on Slagchat in 15 minutes after the ‘closet City fan’ Saghead reads your post on here. Hi Slags2 points

Certainly not disagreeing with you, however I would go one step further and rather than praising them, I would want to know if any clubs didn't acknowledge the sad news.1 point

It was an Ashton gate related protest from what I remember, I saw and heard of quite a few who said they’d never go an watch Bristol again. The fact our attendance have more than quintupled since we left the mem makes me think it didn’t make much difference!1 point

LJ's never had a Bristol derby and I can imagine him joining in with piss-taking. I'm warming to this idea...1 point

Rovers really are a tiny club punching well above their weight aren’t they. Embarrassing attendance once again.1 point

`Me and my ten mates would of gone if we could of gone in the east/west/north/south tent (delete as applicable) but we aren`t `cuz it`s not open`1 point

It’s a sunny day today which is going to adversely affect the attendance. Several thousand will stay home to have a BBQ1 point

Haha, Yeah I had this question from a couple of sniggering, goofy looking Sagheads. In fact whenever we lose some Sag d1ckhead comes out with it. When was the last time they were even in the Championship? 25 years ago? ? I wonder if I’ll be asked on Monday how City got on over the weekend?1 point

Dunno if it's been mentioned but don't you love to see it! ? "The reality is, Bristol City are light years ahead of us, in every single aspect. There might be a rivalry, but there's a Kazzam between us that we might never close. Stadium, Youth System, Training ground". PS, what's a "Kazzam"? Is that how we can tell it's one of their fans?1 point
