  1. Your racism is appalling. And does our entire club a disservice. With the recent increased focus on racism in football, I hope you stay away from Ashton Gate and don't drag us all down to your disgusting level.

  2. Not entirely sure jumping down his throat publicly was the best way to deal with that? Maybe pointing out the racist remark (made by a non native English speaker) and letting him see the error of his ways would be more positive?

  3. Hey sags, we've all seen the various "artist's impressions" of the new avonmouth uwe fruit bowl and we have all heard that apparently it takes time to build a stadium even at one stand at a time. Why I here even the new training facility is taking a little longer than expected, I expect its all those hush hush confidential agreements. Here's what our owners have come with. It's amazing what can be done if you have owners who truly believe in your club and put their money where their mouth is.

  5. Don't know about that but I'm all for Immanentizing the (gas) Eschaton - and if you don't know what I'm on about but you want to know where the KLF got their other name and background story from, you really have to read this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Illuminatus!_Trilogy

  6. Unfortunately, I'm the same as you Señor - I was going to add a reply to @RedLionLad containing witty images of a white flag and Dido. Got it badly wrong. The IT department at GE Madrid have invited me to a meeting tomorrow.....

  11. Exactly. It's just a front for property development. Wally's family buys the land, Rovers can't afford to build a new stadium. All goes quiet for a few years, until planning application for 100's of new homes goes in. Kerching.

  13. A conversation I was party too, involving two owners of a successful business at the fruit market site. Was that an offer of 20 million was made by rovers some months ago ( as furious custard posted some weeks ago) with all sorts of conditions imposed as part of the deal The owners of the site have also turned down an offer of 40 million from a major house builder. The main thing to consider is that the fruit market site , is not a empty or derelict site ,business are still trading from there .If any bid was successful, then the owners would need to find an alternative site ,obtain planning and have the site built . So the day after they vacate the fruit market site ,they can move in and start trading. This would take minimum of three years to complete. As a man once said these things take time, he forgot to mention money ? .Both of which BRFC do not have. ,why their fans are not calling, Wael out on this I don't understand, maybe they don't want to know ??

  14. How? They’ve already morgaged the theatre of shite to the hilt, how are they going to pay for land when they can’t even service their debt or build a training ground

  16. Yes, another hatful conceded today and it's not a great surprise at Chelsea, sadly. The goal difference is a mile behind any other team, so it will come down to points. Next Sunday's game at home to Liverpool is going to be a real defining crunch, even in January. So much could rest on it. Casey Stoney's comments are a bit mean, I feel. Maybe it has a little to do with the fact that the City Women beat them at their place recently. It rather implies that the women's game is linked to the men's - which it is to a certain extent, but not on the pitch. Liverpool: the men are leading the Prem by some distance, the women are propping up the WSL. The old adages applies equally: the table doesn't lie, no team is too good to go down. Was it only a few seasons ago that the Liverpool women were winning titles regularly? Sic Transit Gloria

  17. It was clearly titled. If you're not interested don't read it. Some of us are interested so we read it and don't want the thread derailed by this every time...

  18. Middle-Eastern benefactor buys one bottle of shandy for his band of doting followers to share. Overwhemed by such generosity, the in-breds chant " Messiah ! Messiah! " waving six-fingers and tent-pegs in the air. All later rushed to A & E after drinking Wally's piss.
