Just thought I'd leave this here; Bristol Rugby average attendance so far this season - 19,591 Bristol City average attendance so far this season - 21,595 Bristol Rovers average attendance so far this season - 7,396 (before yesterdays pitiful effort) Booming in South Bristol. Bombing in North Bristol. Hello Pikeys (we know you are there) read 'em and weep6 points

Yes but Gasheads ASSURED us that when the Rugby moved to ‘Trashton’ the attendances would fall dramatically due to the Rugby clubs supporters loyalty to the football club that ‘saved’ them by stealing their home. Looks like another thing the thick bastards got massively wrong then...6 points

The thick as mince, ground stealing **** wits still haven't worked out that in having their board insider shaft Bristol Rugby and then, continually treating their lodgers as second class citizens, how much revenue they've lost. The disastrous on / off move when the Mem was going to be redeveloped in 2008 arguably cost Bristol their place in the top flight and through lost revenue we almost lost the club completely. We were all set to watch a season of rugby at Rodney Parade and season ticket sales fell through the floor.6 points

This is part of the problem the Fewers have yet to address. People have much higher expectations of a day out than sitting in a tent these days with a Ginsters and a fake Fanta. And given just what good value for money a rugby season ticket is, it's no surprise attendances are well up. If only they have treated the rugby club better when they were at the Mem....5 points

I know of a group of blokes who go to every home rugby game with their wives - all kitted out in the shirts etc. They used to go to watch the Pikeys without their wives but find it a better day out at the rugby these days. Seems they're not alone - the rugby clubs attendances have risen by 101% (biggest rise in the premiership) when compared to average attendance 10 years ago; 1. BRISTOL BEARS (101.4% increase) 2008/09: 8,782 2018/19: 17,6835 points

The Massives had a smaller crowd than the six fingered, fourth division roundabout mob up the M4. #It’s what they do............2 points

On to Bolton on Tuesday for the ragged band. They were the first team to lose to them this season IIRC when they got dicked 3-0 (?) at the swamp. C`mon you Bolton boys, do the double (and keep a clean sheet). Trotters v Squatters2 points

I know @BS15_RED and it's absolute bollox. I can categorically state he wouldn't attend the swamp unless Bristols' premier team were playing there. Made me smile though JP. Hope you're well mate.1 point

About eighteen months going by what Wally said. I suppose if they bought the land next week they could bung up a couple of tents fairly sharpish so still on schedule.1 point

Our shooting game was way off today - especially from the 3 and when you don't make your shots you're always going to struggle. The best part of our game was fighting back to almost tie it a few times but we were always second best. Even worse news today that over shadows the whole event is the tragic news about Kobe Bryant. That explains the low attendances then. 40,000 volunteers and just 6,000 so thick, they still pay to get in.1 point

Maybe their experience of being in finals before helped them as they certainly settled better. We were always behind and although we clawed the game back to touching distance a few times we never got ahead, that has to affect you mentally. Good game though and players and fans should be proud.1 point

A friend once bagged a Sag in Chasers and she said she would get her brother to sort him out. True to her word, her Dad was there the next time he tried it on with her and he ended up with a 6 fingered slap for his efforts.1 point

you have just totally ruined the song connection game thread and have been sentenced to .... .... death by MUSIC. tbh, what a beautiful way to go as "music is best" Frank Zappa quote, and who can argue in all honesty? Where were we? :laugh:1 point

So all the bitter sags who are saying they would never go to “Trashton” and put money into that “ladygarden’s” pocket seem to be having a devastating effect on Bristol’s attendances ...... NOT!!! Shows insignificant those bitter, twisted ba5tards really are1 point

Definitely relative. I’m 6’1” (shrunk from my 6’2” playing days). This was their tallest player last season....6’9 3/4”....my daughter stood on chair. Joe is wearing his match-won west....it’s like a full-length dress!!! Heart over head 86-79 to Flyers. Yes, BBL Cup like league Cup. Flyers are in semi’s of BBL Trophy (FACup) Here’s a few tweets to show how athletic they are.1 point

I had a really strange experience tonight I was stood at the bar waiting to be served, the person behind the bar was out the back and nobody was near me. I hear "Psst, nice shirt" I looked around and there's nobody there. A few seconds later I hear "Psst, nice shoes" still nobody behind the bar and nobody near me Then I hear "Psst, we should be friends" Finally a guy appears behind the bar and I asked him whether he talking to me? He replied "No, what did you hear?" So I explained "I heard, Nice shirt, nice shoes, we should be friends" "Oh" replied the barman "Thats just the peanuts....They're complimentary"1 point
