  1. "If we had kept Eastville it would now be an ideal site for a 50,000 all seater stadium" One of the quotes from Ass Works reminiscing about Eastville ?

  2. The Peterborough ownership has always struck me as quite forward thinking, dynamic, and driven. Even if McAnthony can be a little bit annoying and perhaps even full of himself on twitter in my opinion. The rovers ownership strike me as simply laughable.

  3. Last time round Fury outlanded Wilder in 9 of 12 rounds - not by much each time but by enough that judges pretty much anywhere else in the world would have given him the win. I think the talk of Fury going for a KO is just an attempt to mislead people, he'd be mad to risk getting hit. His best bet is to follow the same game plan as last time just do it better.

  4. This bit interests me "Mr Neale said supporters wanted the new ground "to be in a central location... within walking distance of transport links and local attractions"." I have to go to Peterborough 6-10 times a year with work, I have yet to find a "centre" or any "attractions". Regarding the fruit market, it was actually 3rd August 2019 that he said this............. " Mr Al-Qadi said: "We have identified one site, along with others, we are very interested in. We have options but one of the sites is the site at the fruit market - we are very interested in that site." In the same interview he confirmed the club are still "hoping" to have the new stadium built within the next two years. He said: "Two years to go from now that is still hopefully our aim and our target." .......So, we approaching the 7 month anniversary of that fateful statement, with no land purchased, no infrastructure mooted by BCC, no movement from the current owners of the site, "hopeful" is not the word I would use.

  10. Nothing like a bold prediction so fair play! What makes you so confident mate? We've heard/seen very little from Tyson's camp to instill such confidence as far as I'm aware? Much as I hope I'm wrong, I see Wilder winning between 8 and 10.

  11. The problem for Fury is that he doesn't really have the power to stop Wilder and even if he does outbox Wilder again, there is no guarantee he wins on the cards. I agree with @ChubStixx that Wilder will be more patient in this fight. But I expect a better Fury too. Should be fascinating.

  12. Wilder will fight differently in the rematch. He'll be more patient, not rushing his work. Wilder usually has really good stamina but punched himself out last time. I almost always favour the boxer over the puncher, but Fury will do well to evade the big right hand for 36 minutes.

  21. Good god. They really are thick as **** Midsomer Murderer Club Legend 44 minutes ago Quote No point in worrying what that lot are doing. We need to concentrate on us - the sh** will soon be the poor relation in this infrastructure redevelopment. The Bears are doing well, basketball is on the up too. All the rest is hotels, houses and a multi use indoor arena - wouldn’t be surprised If SL sold the sh**, after all, they are costing him a fortune and holding him back
