Whilst people love a bloody good moan on here, I actually think this is the rare occasion where people have a right to complain. Crowds aren't going to be in stadiums anytime soon, people are struggling financially, lost jobs, lost loved ones etc. The club should really be giving the option to those who bought next season ST's a refund, due to the current climate that people find themselves. In the grand scheme of things, a few 100k or even a few mill to a club our size isn't a huge sum of money. I've found the clubs relationship with the fans over the last few years to be piss poor. I understand the sentiment, but you have absolutely no idea what people's financial situation is suddenly like. From February til now, an awful lot has changed. There's an insane amount of people I know personally who have been made redundant and lost their jobs. Suddenly that guaranteed income they had back in February has gone, a lot more people now looking for work thus harder to find employment. I'm playing devil's advocate here, I still have a job, I've been working non stop throughout this entire thing, can only dream of the state paying 80% of my wage whilst I do housework and whatever.9 points

It baffles me how this club (or business) can get it so wrong. We're not talking about a complex message that needs to be constructed, reviewed by 30 stakeholders, re-written, run past legal 10 times, re-written then given to Patrick Bateman to choose the card quality its printed on. This business has departments and hundreds of staff for this kind of thing and yet the communication for so long has been poor. Yes, some staff may be furloughed but not all are. Like others have said, the fact that they have come out to mention the streaming option clearly shows they are considering at7 points

So what is effectively a new "mini season" of 9 games starts (barring any disasters) in just 9 days. I must say I haven't missed the football or the rugby during lockdown but now there is a sense of excitement creeping back in! I'm looking forward to watching City again, albeit on TV rather than actually sat in my usual seat in the Dolman but I am also looking forward to the daft things that go with it, like the "Official Matchday Thread. . . " and it's random facts about our opposition and their town or city. Looking forward to the whatsapp groups trying to predict the starti6 points

i’m not desperate for the money but i want a refund. fed up of the clubs antics towards its supporters/customers, along with the current radio silence. an owner living in tax exile, using government money to furlough staff while players are still creaming it in.6 points

I appreciate I am in the minority here but I really don't get the issue. Less than three weeks ago we didn't even know if the season would re start or end? Now there is an otib meltdown about refunds. Everybody calm down seriously. The money coming back to the people who choose to take it isn't exactly life changing!! Next season's ticket I've paid out for already I would expect an announcement of options but this season I like many will write it off, except online viewing and watch us sneak into the playoffs6 points

Not lost a game for months, I’m encouraged by City’s form. I’m wondering if our bigger squad and quality on the bench with an extra substitute allowed will benefit us this season.6 points

Looking at how healthy our bank now is, Mrs Downend can no longer disguise just how much her hair, nails, lunches with the girls and "essential" shopping really cost. Accordingly, I've petitioned number 10 to extend lockdown till the end of next year! In hindsight, talking to her about this is probably the stupidest thing I've done during lockdown!5 points

About 14k SC holders, season ticket sales just over £3.5m.....times by 5, divide by 23....about £750k. Lets just say for sake of argument 4K are free child or £50 child SCs, then each remaining SC holder is due about £75 back. For a family of 3 or 4 paying full whack, that’s £225-300 due.....and you only need one Robinstv pass. Joe’s ticket is £150 (I get in for free) so I’m due £32.60. I’m not overly fussed, although I could be tempted by a club shop “credit” - that way money stays in club. I would accept just the 9 pass though, and feel compensated I also paid £180 for a pa5 points

Similar here. Most of the angst in my life arises due to other people, so have been more than happy swerving the bulk of the human race for as long as necessary.5 points

I don't think, outside of being the first club to go Div 1 to Div 4 in successive seasons with Wolves later copying us, that we were a joke club. That said: The redeveloped Ashton Gate. It is hard to overestimate quite how much a top stadium serves to benefit a club. It looks absolutely iconic in photographs and massively impresses fans of other clubs and potential signings as well as existing players and fans. Nothing makes a club look worse than a ropey stadium. I remember a winter evening away game at Brighton's literally crumbling Goldstone Ground. They could have5 points

To make it really authentic in the absence of crowds I’m hoping you can pop round to mine and walk past me, obscuring my view about 20 minutes in to the game, 5 minutes before half time & then with about 4 minutes left. Hopefully on at least 2 occasions this will be when we are on the attack. You know where I live in BS3, so is that a deal?4 points

Steve Lansdown stated that his ambition was to put pride into sport in Bristol and particularly the football club . I think the last ten years have seen BCFC’s profile rise. Here are just a few random reasons why we are no longer considered to be a joke club. We have takers for our loan players even at Championship level. We have a squad packed with internationals . We are serious contenders for a play off place and have been all season. Let’s have yours .3 points

Quite right too. I find the sanctimoniousness of it all quite unsavoury. It’s either an attempt to patronise by saying ‘calm down’ or an attempt to subtly shame people by suggesting that ”no one could possibly ‘need’ the £95 refund“ (or whatever it is). Why is it so difficult for people to grasp that some will treat the club as a normal business. The expectation would be a refund and that’s fine. Some will choose to decline the refund and do something they believe helps the club - also fine. Live and let live.3 points

Can't wait to see City lose to a 94th minute goal at Blackburn and then throwing the remote against the wall. The wife storming down the stairs shouting "what the hell is going on" then when I try to explain she tells me to "grow up, it's only a game" god I miss that.3 points

Been a really tough year for many. I honestly can’t wait for the football to start and see us get whacked 4-0 at Blackburn then have a good Moan. It will feel like a little bit of normality coming back. Next Wednesday premiership is back hope villa go down And Thursday League 2 Playoffs start live on sky . Oddly, and strangely (although not stupidly) after the first week where every night felt like a Thursday night, so i got on the cans, I have hardly touched booze since lockdown. So my initial panic/security/confort supplies of booze remain largely untouched. For someone who'd go to the pub probably 6 days a week (usually for 2 or 3) my alcohol in take in almost zero now. And I'm not missing it. This worries me. I have no intention of using the money saved to buy a Fiat.3 points

I’m looking forward to using my new structured excel spreadsheets! Seriously though, I’m looking forward to pre-match build up, the optimism, the hope. I’m looking forward to posting on Twitter about city rather than covid. I’m looking forward to debating our “in my opinion” views.3 points

It's more to make a point i would say. You'd hope the club would think "we are getting loads of questions about xyz", "maybe our communication could be improved", and that they learn from it. All it needs is a one line statement saying they are looking into it and will confirm by a certain date.3 points

The longer the club takes to inform some of its key customers the more it alienates and frustrates suppoters. This scenario would have been drawn up weeks ago and yet the silence is deafening. Just make your announcement. This yet again shows up how poor communications are on key decisions when dealing with supporters, I was happy for them to keep my money this season but now I am of the opinion I want my money back, you treat me with contempt I will do the same. Rant over.3 points

Here it is: We hope you are keeping well during these difficult and uncertain times. Following on from Monday’s announcement confirming the remaining fixtures schedule for the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship season, this is to inform you that your Robins TV annual subscription will be resuming. As you will be aware your subscription was paused for three months whilst the season was suspended so we’ve extended your annual renewal date by 90 days. For example, if you purchased your annual subscription on August 1st, 2019 it will now be due for renewal on November 1st, 2020. Last Friday2 points

I have to disagree with you Vincent! Bearing in mind he only had limited tech at the time (both in his studio role and on the gantry) he understood when and when not to speak. As I know too well from my previous career in broadcasting, there's a heck of a difference between radio and tv ie let the pictures do the talking.2 points

Stayed in Seville last year, and this was the view from my hotel room... It's a huge stadium! Unfortunately, due to redevelopment work at Sevilla's stadium, I managed to visit in the one week of the season where both teams were away, so didn't get to watch a game!2 points

Every training session, every interaction with coaching staff, every interaction with other club staff, every contact with the community, every friendly or U23 game, every loan is a chance to impress. I thought that was something that shone through in both Leroy Lita's and Wilbraham's excellent interviews on OSIB. Work hard and prove you can be trusted and it will come (eventually). The pressure to achieve results in first team games does not really afford the run of games some would like. How many players in the squad could be given 6 games to bed in? Brentford FC is an absolute breath of fresh air in the modern football world - they’ve played glorious football for some time now whilst spotting, developing and selling real talent for mega profits. They are competing at the top end of the second tier regularly with a tight-knit, loyal following and all this while being a mile or two from three current and ex premier league teams - Chelsea, QPR and Fulham ... I wish them nothing but success2 points

As you well know Roger, there are many of us living in Europe that travel to Bristol for each home game and many of us who live in Bristol who travel to Europe to watch away games. The Club are very aware of this fact.2 points

Our club have known for a while now about what is happening this season and, have been planning all scenarios prior to this happening. It seems to me as if they are hoping by delaying things a little, they'll get more people choosing the option of the TV deal, which in turn might put a little pressure on others to do the same, or entice them, ultimately reducing the numbers who will demand a refund and how much they have to pay back. I have to say, they are cold and calculated when it comes to dealing with the clubs fan base, sorry, customer base. The club have mentioned a few times about2 points
