Years ago, just after Tisdale had signed for us from Soton, I took a call from him at my work. Spoke for about 20 minutes - really nice guy, intelligent, articulate and as has been said, immaculately dressed and plays decent football. They’ll think he’s a witch.

I've got to be honest, I was hoping for someone worse than Tisdale.

Can we please refer to him as "former Bristol City player Paul Tisdale" this fact seems to have been overlooked. They love a City reject.

Seriously? He got found out twice at League One level & despite a brilliant Academy struggled to get Exeter out of League Two. He makes a lot of sense from Rovers perspective, out of work, experienced, said to still live in the area, but never in a million years is he going to be a viable candidate when our job comes up again.

Oh dear. This post comes up every now and then. It has been explained many times after being relegated last time and falling to the foot of league 1 there were several threads from rovers fans on their forum not to mention numerous tweets gloating st our demise. Then the tables turned and I guess we cant stop laughing at them back now. This thread highlights their stupidity on a near daily basis.

You could always start a Holden Out topic, a thread outlining why COD is shit or one saying the club should be disbanded for starting Covid. That would bring fun to the proceedings.

Whilst I agree with you I dont think its as wild as we think it is. Vacancies in Championship recently; Us , Sheffield , Nottingham and potentially Derby have gone for other candidates. Depending on how desperate he is for job, a well funded league one side could be where its at. I know Pompy fans would love to have him back for a second stint. They spent a lot more this season than I thought they would so who knows, maybe they could entice someone like cook.
