Yes I believe they can happened to SA 2019. The site of sweeping the crease area into a dustpan was shocking. They have a wonderful stadium and a farcical pitch, shameless by India, needs investigating.2 points

The mighty Tisdale's mistake was not checking that he'd be allowed to pick the team without any interference. Barton has been more savvy.2 points

Step forward Agent Garner! The work he undertook on his assignment under the guise of ‘more attractive football’ was simply stunning. He took a squad that was in the mix for promotion into a rag bag assemblage of no- hopers in super quick time. Not only that he destroyed team spirit, brought in players that are flipping hopeless and created a squad bereft of strikers and any quality in key areas of the pitch, so laying the foundations of misery for many seasons to come. A worthy winner of the ‘Colin Daniel’ Lifetime Achievement Award.2 points

According to the Totally Football League Show there was a bust up because Tisdale didn't have the final say on recruitment (sound familiar?). Allegedly he wanted to sign Stockley from Preston but was overruled.1 point

Yes the idea is have a pitch that helps seamers, pace, initially, and then spin on about the third or fifth day, not the first session. That was never a test match pitch. Would have been better on coconut matting.1 point

How much of an advantage do they want to give themselves? They have betters spinners, and their batsmen play spin better. They have truly world class players. Its so much in their favour anyway, that to produce a pitch like that is akin to match fixing1 point

Root a part time spinner, took five wickets. Truth is the pitch was a disgrace, should be officially called and and given demerit points. This was not a test pitch, the whole match lasted just four sessions.1 point

Precisely my interpretation - AH is taking the (friendly) piss out of her fellow England cricketer. For what it is worth, I considered her comment quite funny, and it is perhaps unfortunatet that RB could not have retorted with a witty comment of his own.1 point

Clearly a joke that Burns has taken the wrong way, however imagine the meltdown if it was the other way round, Twitter would be demanding he never plays again.1 point

India can produce pretty much any pitch they want but this doesn't seem right to me. It's not even about the result, it's the viewing. I don't want to see this sort of wicket in the first 90 minutes of a test match. It's a day 4 wicket1 point

Carl Saunders was on fire that night. What a performance by Rovers. Lost 2-1 but Great atmosphere. We sang nearly all the game. Steve McManaman came over at end and clapped the gas fans and we clapped him back. Memories for some. Eh Richy, I was there that night pal. i remember an hour before th start we was singin loud an proud, the th game got goin an Billy Ocean scored an th roof came off an we out sang th Kop....... ......but I’m always honest an I think they switched McManaman from right ta left an th whole game changed, an ta be perfectly honest I think anyone there that night will tell you th Kop roar literally blew us back, it was deafening. I’ll never forget that noise. Good times pal, who knows maybe more ta come one day. FTG. My car broke down on the way to the game and the breakdown people offered to tow my car home, but arranged a taxi for us to get to Anfield (from Stoke). Got in just after Carl Saunders goal, but remember how loud we were that night, some Liverpool fans who's been in the Kop said that we were the loudest away fans they'd ever known. Hitchhiked home with some fellow Gasheads - happy days. Jesus H Christ - the whoppers they come out with...1 point

No, Brand new team. took players from local leagues and offered them the chance to try out, Basically following Guernsey's lead after getting turned down by UEFA to form a national team. When I say local teams I mean local parish on island teams.1 point
