  1. Well, Yes, and as someone who lost their father recently, I can confirm it hurts.

  2. I thought someone would want to post something. 1 in 25 - Yes he’s proved me wrong.... Maybe he’s that 3 a season striker we’ve been looking for... Have not posted for the last 6 or so games on the subject as thought we had all finally agreed ‘I was right’.... But one more time, I guess it would not hurt. Did not want to tell you so but I told you so... Great win though and also let me tell you I was screaming when he put it in.

  4. There's a legitimate chance of either that or KP's goal being my pick for "Champagne moment" at the end of the season...

  6. Fun fact: If the Sags were to splash out the same money for a Tilson today, according to the bank of England inflation calculator, the equivalent of 375k in 92 is 793k in 2020. So even with inflation they still haven't spent a million. Basically, a Tilson then is worth slightly more than a Sammie Szmodics now.

  10. For starters: I don't know. However his willingness to take up more equity and keep finding the club through Covid on top of his initial investment means in my estimation that he is already into the red in terms of how much he could realise on sale of club or ground compared to how much has gone into the club including the initial purchase. My guesstimate would be that he is £10m out of pocket and in order to be able to tolerate that and not put the club up for sale he must be worth at least £100m or he would be sweating bullets.

  11. He converted a load of debt to equity a few months ago. With his new found (inherited) wealth he is actually now supporting them, albeit on a lesser scale, in the same way that the Lansdown family supports us. Back in the days of family ownership it did look like sale or asset stripping was highly likely but now their accounts, like ours, are pretty much a non-event because whatever the losses they are covered. The only real financial interest IMO is whether Wael both has, and is prepared to invest, sufficient to buy them a new stadium and we won't learn that from the accounts. All we have left to laugh at now are Joey Barton and their league placing.

  13. What amazes me is the lack of còment from the English camp, maybe because it's India and the volatile nature over there they are being quiet, however something needs to be done for the sake of Test Match cricket. Not everyone appreciates limited over cricket IPL, and now the ridiculous 100, 5 day tests will be a thing of the past unless we stamp out this cheating.

  17. No question - Ben Garner! Apart from the stunning run of "form", by most accounts he rebuilt their squad with utter dross. Tisdale could not recover from it, and here's hoping that Jailbird Joey does not either.
