The singer was a poorly paid care worker before the band took off. He grew up caring for his disabled mother in a single-parent household. I'm not a big fan of the music, but he's hardly Jacob Rees-Mogg.10 points

Something slightly different to help you get through the international break. Jon Beavis, the drummer from Bristol-band IDLES joins OSIB. We discuss the band's meteoric rise, the years of misery it took to get there, his favourite gigs and his inability to stage-dive. Not a huge amount of Bristol City chat in this one, but a great interview nonetheless! If you've not heard their music, I suggest you check it out. http://linktr.ee/osibpodcast8 points

We need Gregor to go up and ask Barton "as your record with exactly the same players is as bad if not worse than Garner and Tisdale, does that mean you are as shit a Manager as they are?".7 points

"Bit woke". I understand this to mean "cares about social injustice". So that would be, on the whole, a good thing, yes?7 points

Wilfrid Brambell is more likely to sign for that lot, and he's been dead for the best part of 40 years5 points

I for one admire what he`s doing for the vast majority of football fans in Bristol and taking the club in the right direction.5 points

cant believe im going to say this but ben garner was great ,tisdale fantastic and now joey is turning into my hero5 points

Peterborough have scored 4, I'll bet the club who sold the scorer of the other 2 got a fortune for him, and then reinvested the transfer fee wisely to make them even more competitive.5 points

And the deluded fools just lap it up. According to Gaschat reaching the L1 playoffs once with Fleetwood puts him on a par with the top names in the game. He is banging on about not having a transfer window but I’d be amazed if they don’t have the highest wage bill of that bottom six & so his job is to get results with what he has, not slag off & demoralise them. He’s taking them back where they belong, they might as well have persevered with Tisdale for all the difference he has made.3 points

The more you listen to Barton the worse he is sounding. He seems to be unraveling a bit. Fortunately for him the roasters up North lap it up and he really does have a free pass for now. He’s done ‘em like a kipper. However lose two or three more on the spin and I could see him saying “I can’t do anything with this lot” and walking. Enjoy your topside ?3 points

Clocks go forward tonight, and bringing L2 that little bit nearer/sooner in the morning for the Loyal and Few3 points

?? ******* hell. When we play Sunderland again they’ll revert to type & not win a game against me like they did when I was at fleetwood. but they’re not my players so Sunderland go back up the road with 3 points. well mr Barton you could well be 2 leagues apart from them next season3 points

A never give up attitude comes from winning games. Had the Bears been on a losing run they’d have also the game today. Pat Lam is a formidable guy and has instilled determination and resilience into the squad - let’s hope Big Nige can do the same with our squad.3 points

Ipswich (A) Doncaster United (H) Northampton (A) Lincoln (H) MK Dons (H) Portsmouth (A) Crewe (H) Blackpool (A) That's a beautiful run-in!! They will do very well to find a way from here tbf, not saying it can't or won't happen but.........3 points

Kind of? He got it stopping a certain try, which was then given as a penalty try anyway, so it would have been a five point game yellow card or no yellow card. Clearly did not help them right at the death.3 points
