  1. However bad we are, we haven’t lost to a team wearing our away shirts which relegated us out of the football league altogether. Well done gift givers. ??

  4. Is that our ‘fickle fans’ who bought over 8000 STs the last time we were relegated to L1 after one of our worst seasons in the last 40 years? Thats nearly double the number of STs they sold after they were last PROMOTED to L1. The same ‘fickle City fans’ that were turning up in crowds of over 10,000 at AG to watch us drawing with Colchester and Shrewsbury at home whilst we were bottom of L1 under O’Driscoll? These Sagheads bang on about how their crowds are only shit because they aren’t in the top 6 and have a rubbish stadium...THATS fickle! Morons.

  7. Well, I have to say I agree with Mr Barton here. If a keeper has got into a Formula One car and driven over an opposing forward it should definitely be a red card...............................

  9. Our fickle fans? Our attendances over the last 3 years says we aren't and we've been crap at home. We'll find out what fickle means when they've been relegated and they publish season ticket numbers.

  12. This is the high point of their season. The best they've got. And they are right - it is something for us to be embarrassed about. But that's it. Everything they've got. Both barrels. Out of ammo. Goodnight Irene.

  13. They load the gun for us every single time. If it were a game of Top Trumps every game would be over in less than 30 seconds for the fewer. Why do these muppets keep doing it to themselves? Because they are absolutely deluded belters.

  15. Gutter but wasn't expecting a Frampton win. Feel like Carl's career has never quite hit the heights it should have. His recent association with the murderer Daniel Kinahan has left a bitter taste in the mouth. Sad for him though, and that was an emotional interview right there. God bless, Carl.

  17. Retire Carl ffs. A boxer whose heart took him well beyond his abilities, but he needs to pack it in and enjoy his family and his health.

  18. They look 3 or 4 weight divisions apart. Bad cut that though, if it's from a punch then Frampton's chances have radically improved. edit, clearly a punch, surely.

  24. Never?! What, the faithful and true?, the ‘Family Club’?.....You must be talking about that other vile club with the vile fans...they gurt ‘Ted’s! Not the club with the best away following in the country. I refuse to entertain such lies!

  25. Dustbin thread ?, we're known as 'binners' by Norwich fans, but enough about them. So we beat your rivals today, wasn't anything pretty in fact it were mostly dire and uninspiring but imagine you'd be pleased to see them beat. We're TRYING to get back to the Championship again but on today's evidence may have to wait a while longer. Sorry about your loss today serioiusly I'd want you to do well and see Bristol City back in the top flight (a vague recollection from early schooldays) Any consolation I'd expect Rovers to be a League Two club by the summer, they had to win today to have any real chance but gave us a goal through one of their own players before Judge made it two. Could have taken a point from it by the end, we were effectively poor once again but for now just 'enjoying' the moment and thankful for the three points. Sorry to intrude.

  27. Possibly one of the greatest ever threads on OTIB. I have read it, but not yet contributed. Why now? Well I don't know, but that doesn't matter. I have been really down for several months for numerous reasons. Sometimes coming to OTIB helps... sometimes it doesn't. But this thread reminds me that there are some really wonderful people in the world. I have had ups and downs and left and rights over the last 6 months. I have seen myself get very close to ending up in some extremely dark places, and at points questioning life. What is life? How valuable is life? Is life worth living? It was scary, very scary. The most important thing I have done in my life is reach out to family, and friends, and to tell them how I'm feeling. Even last night I messaged a friend at 9pm to say "Not so good, just needed to get in touch with someone". We were then on the phone for almost an hour, and I felt better afterwards. I was scared of getting professional help. It made me feel weak. A failure. Someone who couldn't live a life. All this even though I have had counselling before. You feel embarrassed (Even though you don't need to tell anyone you still do). I did it. I picked up the phone in and I made that call. I want help. I need help. Am I better? No not yet, it can be a long road, but I am beginning to see things in a different light. I am now at a stage where I can fight those dark thoughts rather than absorb them and end up falling in to a bigger, deeper, darker hole. Hesitant about reaching out to others? Unsure if you should get professional help? Do you feel sad or embarrassed that you have got to this place? Don't be. It's human nature to help other humans. Someone will be there for you.... Always.

  28. I thought flames meant that you we’re stoking up a debate. Depression is an illness and it is very easy to slide into a deep hole that is difficult to get out of. A kind word or action cannot cure the malady but can be the catalyst that reignites the belief in oneself. Life could be so much better if people were just a tiny bit kinder. Let’s try to be less agressive and more understanding of other’s faults or opinions because we are all wonderfully imperfect. I will take this moment to thank you all for your continued and various exchanges on this forum. Have a safe and happy Christmas. Love to all the OTIB family.
