Nothing wrong with LJ, gave us some good times (as well as bad) but Lee and his dad were, and still are Bristol City through and through, Sunderland have got a good manager who will get them promoted I'm sure, I for one wish him all the best.10 points

So far it's been a great League One Tuesday nights football. Almost like a Carlsberg Tuesday. Let's be fair, we're pretty rubbish, but the gash are more rubbish in a lower league. Therefore, on the old shitometer they beat us hands down. Happy to find enjoyment in their predicament. Haven't been entertained by City this much for ages. Please go down you pikey sag muppets.8 points

Hopefully and not tempting fate. But for the old school I only have two words. OH YES.5 points

Ha ha. Bit of an overreaction there methinks. They’ve just lost 2 in a row having just lost only 2 in 28!!! I think a 17-9-2 record affords him a bit of wriggle room after 2 defeats. ?5 points

Looks like LJ is thinking of us allowing Wigan to win tonight and move above the Gas; agent Wright back in the side too!! Just read their forum and found this, .... the locals are getting restless: He got lucky with a New Owner bounce. The bloke was shit and tinkering and was given deserved criticism for his tactics and stupid speak after his first 10 games. New owner came in and the players were playing out of there skin. He kept it simple and piped down after getting deserved criticism. He now thinks he’s gods gift again and has reverted to trying to tinker and try anything, and with the new owner bounce gone we’ve fell on our arses. The truth is, he thinks he’s Pep Guardiola, and way too clever for us and for league one. The reality is, Bristol fans were bang on, he’s a streaky average Manager, who won’t take us forward. Sound familiar? More here: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/lee-johnson.1547640/page-35 points

Scorer Jimmy Keohane. wasn't he one of those two young Irish lads we signed years ago, released not long after?3 points

A Rochdale win surely? Puts them back in the mix and still with a game in hand.3 points

They have already lost at home this season to Rochdale, Swindon & Wigan, drew 0-0 with Wimbledon. They are a laughing stock, I usually think they will sneak their way out of things with a dodgy penalty or sending off, but they could well go down. Hilarious, isn’t it?2 points

4 from 6 is my view of the League One relegation spots. More difficult by the game, and opportunities are running out. Never mind, eh.2 points

Rochdale win at home for the first time in 19 games. Are only 2 points behind the fewers with a game in hand. Shows you how shit rovers are2 points

They might as well wait until the end of the season to form an opinion IMHO. We all know he is streaky but if his streaks in L1 are 29 points in 11 games and then one in 3 that's pretty decent and will get you promoted. If on the other hand this streak runs until the end of the season then that's poor.2 points

I've always found OSIB a good listen - good company when I'm out for a lockdown walk! I come here for the older men moaning about City ?1 point

Lincoln 4-0 up with only 34% possession, and 5 shots at goal. With only 3 shots on target too...1 point

Is someone taking a slash against the caravan? And why does the fat man have his arms raised but the others don't? Is the shirt so tight that his arms are in the same position until he takes it off? And why is the guy on the right far running away? So many unanswered questions....1 point

See Chelsea recorded losses of £1.8m and that included a £4m loan from Abramovich to cover costs of team. Really need to avoid the slippery slope of women’s football being the loss maker that men’s football is1 point

Concerning report about the state of things at Birmingham. Seems the women's side is being given second rate treatment by the club and the squad is making it official. Also concerning is the note about the FA helping them to complete their fixtures. Does this make the picture more cloudy? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/566424881 point

I met him a few times years ago in a business context, nothing to do with football. You couldn't meet a nicer person, he came across as warm, friendly and genuinely engaging. Lovely fella. I think the answer to that one is that he's the only one who earned the right to those resources by taking the team from the brink of the relegation zone to the fringes of the play off places. And Cotts, who will always remain a City legend for me, was afforded comparatively rich resources to build the side comprising the best players in league 1. So fair enough I think.1 point

Well as a man of nearly 60 I can say I thoroughly enjoy the podcast and it's humour as well. I would say the only thing it lacks is a greater sense of history as the memories of the contributors probably start from the late 80's at best. Having said that, they probably don't want some old gits comparing current players to Gerry Gow and John Galley or even older references.1 point
