There are two Rovers forums and, to be fair, the other one is quite interesting and, at times, quite amusing. On the subject of season tickets one poster said: Got mine. Tried to pay extra for a restricted view, but they`ve all been taken.6 points

I was bore so decided to do the 'fact' thing. PNE. Capacity 23,404 QPR, Capacity 18,439 Fulham- a major European final, loads of seasons in the Premier league . Capacity 25,700, soon to be 29,600 Charlton Athletic. Many Premier league seasons. Capacity 27,111 Brentford. New stadium, pushing for the Premier league. Capacity 17,250 Millwall - played in Europe. Capacity 20,146 Blackburn rovers. Capacity 31,367 Wigan Athletic - Multiple Premier league seasons plus European competition. Capacity 25133 Luton town capacity 10356, soon to be 21000 Barnsley Premier league appearances. capacity 23,287 Methane snorters -erm Capacity 12296 Bear in mind, all, apart from the sags are SEATED capacity, theirs would be around 2,600. All of the 'smaller' clubs have modern, comfortable stadiums, apart from Luton, who are moving and QPR who, although having a much higher capacity than the 'big' club in BS7, are trying to relocate. Bigger? Obviously! NOT!!5 points

I am afraid I went and did something rather mean!! I decided to look into the facts behind this utter delusional gas logic - as we know facts are possibly the only thing they fear more than soap! A bit of time on excel and https://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/englandcontent.htm leads to a nice chart of 50 years of attendances up until lockdown in 2020 Green cells are the ones that would support their claim of being "bigger" for that season. They could possibly entertain having an argument with fans of Brentford, Wigan and Luton.... However, Brentford appear to be on a very upward trajectory and I doubt will fall to the level the saggies now find thesleves at for a long time. Luton have seen hard times in recent decades, but are on their way back and could well establish themselves as a championship outfit for a few seasons. Wigan (recent-ish Premier League team AND FA cup winners) have had problems and they may have attendances smaller than the gas when fans return but they will still be playing in the league above - ? The rest of the clubs mentioned are so far ahead of their tinpot outfit its bizzare they actually appear to believe this crap.4 points

I don’t. There aren't enough G4s roasters/belters/tossers to go round for all of us to know one each. Maybe every 10/15 of us know one G4s roaster?2 points

Angus Fraser will be on the phone to get a points deduction for Somerset for taking too many wickets in the first 2 sessions on day one.... regardless of whose ground it is2 points

Wigan have more points in League 1 this season too than the 15ers. Mind you, all of the teams do.2 points

Good to watch Glos on the proper tele today rather than the, let’s be honest, second rate stream. It’s funny, I often think Key & Nas sound very similar, and if I’ve not been focussing 100% and they’ve changed commentator, I’m often unsure whether it’s Key or Nas. Right now, they are both commentating together, which is even better as I’ve no idea who’s talking to who ??1 point

Actually none of the other clubs have won the Watney Cup so there really is no comparison, gaslogic1 point

So are Cadbury heath, Longwell green and the Mango's then I guess? One question though, if all things were 'level', how could they, or anyone else for that matter, be bigger? ?1 point

Ahh, what people are missing is that bit that says "If we are talking about things being equal". I think he is talking about a parallel universe where They hadn't gone down into non League, sorry Div 5, and all of those other "smaller" teams haven't won Leagues and cups over hundreds of years. Then , on those level terms they are bigger. That must have been some session. He has conjured a comparison that ignores all football history to reach a theory that has them being a huge club ?1 point

Nice! Of course The fewers honours include a watney cup and also being division 5 runners up - that's probably the equal of Blackburn's Premier league and Wigan's FA cup wins right?1 point

I'm also in favour of the new format, not just for those reasons you mention, but I really like the regularity of games every week. I'm sure the players are the same. Playing County Cricket in blocks like this without the distraction of white-ball cricket promotes focus and allows players to hone their craft. It can only be a good thing, especially for England.1 point

You aren't allowed facts in gas logic plus you haven't accounted for the 10,000 fans that were locked out of the ground.1 point

Exactly this, ring dimensions are often used to try and gain a late psychological advantage even if agreed in the contract. Fury famously nearly walked out before he won the title from Klitschko in Dusseldorf over the size and lack of spring of the ring. I see BJS and his old man (resplendent in wife beater) are making friends in Texas1 point

Dominic cummins drove 50 miles over lockdown to test his eyesight. The police pulled him over and he said, ive got contacts...1 point

.... and Blackburn!! They’ve won the premier league/top tier three times, they’ve competed in the champions league and they’ve won the FA Cup six times and they’ve won the league cup - what on earth makes a roverzzzz fan think their shabby club is bigger than a club like Blackburn ?! It really is strange...1 point

I have it on good authority that the real reason that the European Super League collapsed was that they forgot to invite the gas.1 point

Are there any relevant regulations or judicial decisions that we can reliable turn to? Has there been a previous case that might guide us? I can't think of one off hand in the Women's game, but the men's seem to vary according to the authorities.1 point

If there is someone who seriously thinks that rabble are bigger than any of the clubs on that list they require urgent medical attention - Charlton for example are twice the club they are1 point

I'm really not sure about Bartons standing within the game but I wouldn't think it is that high. So would clubs want to loan their younger players to a club where he is manager ? I would think they are at a disadvantage in that respect.1 point
