I heard that Coventry had their easiest game of the season today against a team that didn't try and were on the beach already. Keeper had a nightmare as well - ball got stuck in his gob at one point.13 points

I am proud of the way we performed today. With a side that comprised so many young "rookies", we made Brentford work for their win. We competed well, even if at times we were outclassed by a very good Brentford. None of our's left anything on the pitch today and one cannot ask for more. Now for the "Repair Shop" to begin an interesting summer.11 points

I really hope he does sign Lansbury, starting to show his quality and with a preseason under his belt could be immense for us next season10 points

Aside from Baker, the oldest outfield player we had on the pitch at the end was DaSilva who's just turned 23.8 points

Wtf are you on about, it's mainly u23's against one of he best trams in the Championship8 points

1st half summary: I bloody enjoyed that. Brentford are a good side, pass it for fun, but they are getting frustrated. Really good shape and disciplined shape. Goof distances between the 4, the 2 and the 3, giving Brentford very few pockets to play into. Baker - 3/4 crunches so far....a bit of physicality, makes a difference! No, I'm not saying sign him!!! Simpson - tidy Dasilva - looking ok....needs to improve crossing (where have said that before) Scott - very impressive 45 on full debut Bakinson - sloppy / too eager with through balls, but defensively his positioning has been really good, picked up loads of passes through the lines. Need to make subs at right time, because we will tire chasing Brentford. Proactive subs please Nige!!8 points

I’m not saying Baker should be given a contract but I am enjoying watching him committing GBH on Toney8 points

I'l take a boring draw right now. Fear a heavy defeat though. Get this bloody season finished, it's been an absolute train crash.7 points

You have cherry picked the last four games to make us look bad why not pick the last 6 gam.... (someone whispers in my ear)...really? Ok why not pick the last 8 gam.... (whispers in ear again)... seriously? Ok why not pick the last 10 gam....(whispers again)....damn! Ok never mind as you were.6 points

45 years of watching city and some of the relegations haven't felt as bad as this6 points

Well done Louis Britton. Sure I read on here by a poster he had no chance of making it. Good start lad6 points

In complete fairness, our midfield and front line right now is: Massengo, Bakinson, Janneh, Scott, Edwards and Britton. Season has been dire, but happy to keep today in perspective.6 points

Wonder if the Millwall keeper will say his team mates weren't interested today 5-1 down6 points

Anyone else think Derby v Wednesday is looking like two bald men fighting over a comb?6 points

True, but Derby have been financially dodgy as well. Would’ve preferred a Rotherham survival over both of them.5 points

Baker and Wells asking 17 year old Alex Scott where he wants them for the free kick. Things you like to see.5 points

After this shit season, uncertainty around Covid-19 and money being tight for a lot of people after the last 12 months.... If we’re only 2k down on last seasons sales at this stage I think that’s superb and once again shows who the real loyal supporters are in Bristol.5 points

Thanks to @IAmNick as well. Appreciated. We can always rely on him to post any goals/incidents straight after.5 points

Perhaps we could do what they do at race meetings at the end of the game. Treat it like a Selling race, parade the players around the pitch at full time and auction them off.5 points

Very true that. I’m aware of some rather stinking attitudes just prior to Holden leaving, 1 out of contract player in particular giving it the ‘big un’. Then another incident this week with the nose to nose. Plus another ooc player a couple of weeks ago was told some ‘home truths’. Not a happy environment for some down there at the moment, but hopefully some of the nobs are off shortly.4 points

Vyner has versatility and of course is in contract, but if it wasn't for that I would let him go. The moment that I knew we would lose today despite a good defensive showing was when Mariappa went off for Vyner. I don't mind Vyner in midfield, but I don't ever want to see him or Moore at CB ever again.4 points

Best part of the season starts here....finding out who will be ******* off??4 points

Well done Louis - great to see. Just goes to show - if you're a goalscorer the net's the same size whatever level you're playing at.4 points

That goal sums up why I don’t think Vyner has what it takes to play CB at this level, despite his obvious improvement this season. Had that have been Moore, he’d have been criticised.4 points

Agree completely. I'd love to see our win percentage in games Baker has started for us throughout the years, would guess it's pretty decent. I know you can't discount his injury record but when fit he's one of the best defensive centre backs in the league imo.4 points

Brentford strong, I suppose momentum is key going in to play offs. City 4 Brentford 04 points

Been looking forward to this game for a long time. Because after this shit show of a season it will be finally over . And we can start getting rid of some very average footballers. Awful season. Hoping to see some young players get 90 minutes today4 points

Maybe just a gentleman's agreement to keep him fit for euros. Kalas has been poor lately but still one to always put his body on the line. Plus, it gives another look to two good professionals to maybe help us next season.3 points
-
I did wonder with Nagy going home (funeral) that it might be allowing him to prep for Euros. Possibly same for Kalas?3 points

Kalas’ confidence is shot so maybe trying to protect him ahead of next season.3 points

Gloucestershire get decent crowds and it’s a professional sports team in Bristol.3 points
