Shameful, made worse because other Rovers supporters were telling those who started the booing to shut up - which only added to the noise. I didn't really care about the result that evening. I don't think there's any moral ground to be gained by either club with regards to this sort of thing, unfortunately we both have history. Rovers were also guilty of the Aberfan chant, as I'm sure other clubs were at the time.8 points

Oh look it’s all of the ECB’s chickens coming home to roost. This is exactly what those ******* idiots deserve for their managed of decline of first class cricket in this country. Part of me would love to see us absolutely annihilated by India and Australia over the next six months as it’s exactly what those clowns deserve.6 points

It seems strange that Wael has sent out this personal message on a day that should be momentous for gasheads as a whole. I guess it just shows what a personal touch the lovely man has, to be discussing a random birthday when he surely has a huge announcement to make. Yes, ladies and gentlemen (and you @Rudolf Hucker), it is now two years since Wael of Fortune made the almost unbelievable statement that Bristol Rovers would be playing in a plush new stadium positioned neatly on the footprint of the wholesale fruit market. I decided I would take it upon myself to assess the place, I have in the past run SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis on opposition to companies I have worked for, so felt well placed to give you all a rundown on this "Wembley of the West". Unfortunately, I fell at the first hurdle, despite being a Bedminster boy born and bred, and also living for 10 years in St Annes, I must have been hopelessly lost as I was unable to locate the stadium, routes to it, or even any sign of development in the area. I really think that, for what is presumably a large investment, they should really advertise better and invest in some road signs. There is a Go Outdoors up by the Lodeka pub, but I am sure this is just a coincidence. Anyway, if any of you have greater luck, please point me in the right direction for next time.4 points

Miles behind the likes of India & NZ, just atrocious. But they'd rather invent dumb games like The Hundred ?2 points

Reading the responsibilities for the ‘unpaid internship’ doesn’t add up… Why would you have all those skills required only to work for free…. What planet is he on?1 point

True. Different attitudes then I reckon. If any sort of disaster resulting in multiple loss of life happened now I don't think many football fans would join in a chant to goad the opposition.1 point

I can remember Andy Caddick saying he needed a good 100 overs of red ball cricket before he was firing on all cylinders. He would have hated what Broad and Anderson have had to do the last month, ie nothing it really is time for a cricket revolution1 point

The ECB can say what they want about test cricket being a priority but it’s all lies. A lot of these players haven’t played a 4 day game for over a month. No practise whatsoever. I actually feel sorry for them today. Switching codes is a lot harder than people think1 point

Spineless, clueless shambles. At least another hit and giggle white ball tournament will solve all the problems though.1 point

Good to see stepped up monitoring on the way at last- Reading. "Can't afford to give Laurent a new deal"- ouch. They know what they need to do/needed to have done. There was a deadline of 30th June 2021 in their case, Accounts wise- they needed to sell or show proof that there was an agreement to sell by that date, to sell players in order to fill the FFP hole- they did not, even if Olise had been then £8m wouldn't have resolved the issue in itself. Little more on Fulham, couldn't add it to the last post. SwissRamble calculations...their upper limit remains £72m as it was last season, all depends what they lost in the PL as that added to Championship and halved. One thing for sure, had they stayed down in 2019/20, trouble might have arisen and if they don't go straight back up this time likewise.1 point

Losing faith in Root and Silverwood at the moment. We’ve become so boring and stale. We’re going to get roasted this Winter - Stokes or no Stokes and wouldn’t be surprised if we lose this series as well. Hope I’m wrong.1 point

They absolutely shit their pants about the balance of the side whenever Stokes is missing. Not playing a spinner at the height of summer is mind-boggling.1 point

1. Seinfeld 2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer 3. The X-Files 4. Frasier 5. Curb Your Enthusiasm Seinfeld is in a league of its own really. Frasier is brilliant and Cheers is great too. Fawlty Towers and Only Fools and Horses are up there as well. The Simpsons in its prime was outstanding, unfortunately it has too many dud episodes to make my top 5. Friends is an enjoyable show but I’ve seen all the episodes so many times that it’s a bit boring and predictable now.1 point

Hard to believe some of ours saw fit to do that. The Aberfan chant was vile too. Hope ours never stoop that low again.1 point

The whole point of this originally was that it was free? Can't see there being as much interest at £10 a head..1 point

We had a song with a lyric about Mike Barrett which shameful. Although that was in the 1990s, I'd like to think it wouldn't happen now.1 point
