Amazing some fans want him sacked. Even more so the shit and mess he inherited. I’m glad he’s our manager and excited about the future with him at the helm46 points

???? & here it is again . You can never wait to put the negative slant & a knife into the ribs of Pearson . So transparent it’s unreal. You can’t wait for him to fail. Pathetic28 points

I dont think Nige injured them mate24 points

James injured King injured Tanner injured Atkinson injured Baker injured Simpson....no one knows13 points

So on one side we have Leicester's goalkeeper of the last 10 years with almost 400 appearances for them. (Just realised it's Peter, but same thing really) The "counter" of "group think" is a tabloid article about a tweet by the girlfriend of a player, who wasn't picked by Pearson. It's like when you see a "balanced" debate on something like climate change, with 1 "pro" and 1 "anti". It's just not at all representative of weight of opinion or context.13 points
-
Generally yes but this is a specific position where due to injuries we are weak as piss and as Nige correctly says it is not sustainable to be going into every game needing to score at least twice to get a point out of it and three to four times to get a win.12 points
-
Weimann posting the best numbers we’ve seen from a forward since Reid. Atkinson and Tanner two young, cheap defenders who look very talented and will grow. James a very useful and experienced addition to midfield. Squad wage down 1/3rd. Nige has done very well with the transfer market.11 points

Could have… but imagine a back 4 CB pairing of Vyner and Moore. Jeez, that was dark day under Holden when both signed new long term deals. ?9 points

No… I think you misunderstand… I was asking if you support that Clown - referring to the Clown running our country. And it appears you probably do. ?9 points

It could quite easily be the case that Klose’s wages are lower than what we are getting from Hearts. Just throwing made up numbers out there, but say Moore is on £12k p.w (remember the new contract he got?) of which Hearts are contributing 50%, it’s conceivable that we might be paying Klose less than £6k p.w. There’s also the intangible that him staying at Hearts might mean we shift him in the summer (to Hearts or whoever), saving £600k in wages next year and a small amount of amortisation (about £40k). We might even get a fee too. Plus there’s also the other bit that Nige doesn’t think he’s good enough…that’s probably the most important factor! ? (Personally I don’t think he’s as bad as made out on here, but that’s immaterial)6 points

We are desperate for a centre bank as the majority of us know. Moore is gone, Cundy is untried at this level. With our financial difficulties this signing makes perfect sense.6 points

Weimann re-signed, how many goals he now got us?6 points
-
Maybe not, but not sure how often that will apply now. Looking at the remaining 18 fixtures we only have 4 night games, plus Easter where we play twice in 3 days, sensible management of him should see us cope, if Kalas, Atkinson, Vyner & Pring remain with similar availability records to now. Essentially if he signs he replaces Baker, who we believe has no prospect of playing again this term.6 points

I think that’s the context to this debate. Tom Lees took a 2+1 deal with Huddersfield, if we were in for him, that in itself might’ve been a deal breaker, let alone wages. Its how we got Chris Martin, we offered a 2+1, Derby didn’t. Cant just look at it based on fee alone…it’s the whole package. I don’t necessarily subscribe to the argument “Simpson and King will be good in the dressing room / on the training ground” because they were signed to play…but we might look back on this in the long run and hear the likes of Massengo extolling the virtues of King (in fact he has already). So it adds a bit of grey into the black and white debate.5 points

Yes, low cost and low risk signing which is where we are as a club anyway!! As others have said, if the guy is over his injuries we have a very capable centre half for the rest of the season.5 points
-
Absolutely not. Sounding out Nige for his signings is very hindsight, just like that pr1ck Starmer.5 points

Don’t lie. You’re clearly anti Pearson but won’t admit it in case it back fires on you & he does well. You almost had a one man campaign to get him sacked near the start of the season . Then the character assassination . Saying he’s a bully & the camp was split. I said before , your a snide & the worse thing is you won’t admit any of it. It’s ok , I’m not surprised now I know who you were on here previously .5 points

When all fit Tanner Kalas Klose Atkinson Pring That on paper looks quite strong. However, on paper and on the pitch is obviously very different. You have pace and height there.4 points
-
Moore isn’t good enough at this level, he has been given more than enough opportunities in a Bristol City shirt and has failed to deliver.4 points

Wow. You don’t support that clown do you?4 points

Signing Simpson was a mistake, but we have no idea what sort of influence he has around the play. King’s exceeded my expectations when he’s played. Baker’s obviously a bad signing in hindsight, but I can understand the logic in re-signing him on significantly reduced terms. Two out of three will be gone in the summer IMO.4 points
-
I would say it was at the moment. The club is clearly considerably more valuable with a decent first team squad, so whilst there are bidders sniffing around I would give the Administrators the benefit of the doubt until Sunday lunchtime.4 points

The trouble is 'accepting considerably less than owed' is not the same as 'accepting that others can be paid out in preference to us, despite the statute'. I am beginning to wonder if the real problem is that none of the deals work in the real world, but nobody wants to be responsible for pressing the liquidation button.4 points
