  1. Kalas... the most overrated player in the squad. Positionally terrible and consistently bang average.
  2. Whilst this is definitely an upgrade on what we have at present, I can’t help but think an indoor training area would have been far more beneficial for City than than Bristol.
  3. Football is a results game and Cardiff have ambitious owners who demand results. End of. Unfortunately for us, we have a wet-blanket for an owner, a board who are happy with toeing the (owners) party line and whom, whilst full of good intentions, do not have the drive, determination or know-how to get this club (and fans) to where it should be after so many years of being the perennial under-achievers.
  4. I do love seeing how the 'Ashton Gate 8' are continuously made out as being some sort of saviours of the club. Players given (rightly or wrongly) absurdly long contracts to drastically under perform and drag the club from the top tier to the bottom is frankly laughable. The truth of the matter is that they simply had no other option at the time. The club couldn't afford to pay them their contracts anyway, so by 'tearing' up their contracts they were only doing what was the 'reasonable" thing for their own careers - and by no means just to save the club. 5. Good post. Agree with all of it. Ignore the ******* who haven't the attention span to read it and also ignore the ******* whom spend half their life on here with nothing productive to say. 6. The amount of two-faced contributors on this thread is laughable. LJ should have gone 2-3 seasons ago and you all know it. Was a poor appointment then and was a poor appointment now. Not sure where this "he loved the club" comes from either? I'd love any club too if they were paying me a sizeable amount for being mediocre at it. He hasnt taken us forward either. If anything, we have/are going backwards. We have, once again, been left with a bloated squad, with high earners and no real philosophy or style of play. The next managerial appointment will say a lot about S
  7. Funnily enough, our best football was played at the start of the season with Palmer and Afobe on the pitch together...even then, since Afobe's injury, KP has done reasonably well - not as good - but not as bad as, say, COD or even Kalas has been this season.
  8. Should have been 'relieved' of his duties a long time ago.
  9. Weird comment - comparing football to warfare?
  10. Let's just see where we finish, sha'll we? Personally think we will miss out on the top six, but very happy to be proved wrong
  11. If we don't make the play offs, then out. Anything after that, then in.
