  1. You are right - We really shouldn't care.... But......then I remember my early teens pre/post 1990 (and hearing family stories of them trying to pinch the Gate in 82) and all logic goes out the window, **** em.
  2. Annoyingly - I think they are going to get back to back promotions. Urggghhh.
  3. ARGGGHHHHHH!!! Summer of misery.
  4. Thanks **** that's all over. Utter utter disgrace. Cook should be writing his resignation letter. Although he probably isn't - no real obvious candidates to replace him unfortunately.
  5. FEEBLE. Load up on a 5-0 loss boys. We are gone.
  6. Surely if I was NTTDS I'd have taken some random shots of people or something ">http://http://s853.photobucket.com/user/bigfatbloke/media/Adelaide%20Oval/Ashes%20Test%20Dec%202013/20131206_085712_zps6215a9db.jpg.html'> You can still see St Peter's from certain stands. It's was a nice view but I'll take the trade off of having more shade. They were quite a few English taken away in ambulances yesterday! As for Day 1 of this test - talking about letting them off the hook. We needed to roll em for less than 300 and now they look like getting 400. Going to take a remarkable turn around in our batting to take this one. This has been a wonderful England side but it unfortunatly looks like the wheels are coming off - at the worst possible time
  7. Well I've think I've just got over that debacle. Here's some snaps from the fantastic new Adelaide Oval: http:// Sat here for most of the test (Riverbank mid level). Amazing seats right below the ABC commentary box. http:// Watched the Johnson spell from up here (Riverbank upper) http:// View of the eastern stands http:// The famous old scoreboard at the Cathedral end. Very pretty , but It's bloomin' hard work watching a game from the (infamous) hill that sits in front of it mind.. http:// A view of the Riverbank stand - it's massive! http:// A view of the unfinished western stand(s). Overall I think they've done a great job with the old girl. Especially if you compare to the concrete monstrosity that is the 'Gabba.
  8. Off the top of my head: I need your loving - Beck Panic - The Smiths Generation - The Who Common People - Pulp Hangin' on the Telephone - Blondie Thunder Road - The Boss The Only Livin Boy in N.Y - Simon & Garf Accquiese - Oasis And almost anything by the mighty COLD CHISEL,
