Its possible that a player who doesn’t want to be here is still a better option than someone who does….in certain circumstances. I think most of us hope that with a fuller squad to puck from tomorrow, it ought to be less likely to see any (many?) of those included.
But we will have to wait and see.
you will soon see who doesnt want to be here. we had that last season just before the jan window opened, played their socks off until the window closed then went dormant

Oh joy! Still unconvinced by NP, and not sure that he’s the right guy for the job, purely based on what I have seen this season, home & away.
nail on head there. i dont think he is the guy for the job, AS IT WAS. i think he is here to get rid of the 'cushy play for bristol city job' and is going to build a bust your gut for bristol city job' hopefully getting us challenging for promotion in the not to distant future. change was required, change has been made, now needs the time to implement it

Totally delighted that he’s back and well enough to resume his role. Loved the ‘some players are not on-side and I will do everything I can to get rid of them’ line.
NP is the future and I have complete confidence in him turning this situation around.
Welcome back Nigel.
absolutely this and im buzzing cus it means i might bump into him again.great bloke to talk to

I believe the problem is a persistent corn, do you treat corns with antibiotics?
bloody horrible things,i had one on my big toe, hurt like hell if i got the pressure on it wrong.tried corn plasters but flip me,that hurt even more trying to pick the middle out after the ring around it dissolved.if i get one now,i slice it off with a razor blade, much less painful

clem has got a good ring to it

WTFWTJThanks for the message, but I’ve not spent any time with the players, been stuck on the phone with Nige non-stop.

Think we maybe also need a ‘Gas are amazing’ thread along the lines of “Nailsworth is like, OMG, a Mecca of world football, so being 14th in the same league is a massive achievement… thread”. Feel it also needs something about BS7 having the best kit, stadium and supporters, but thread title might get a bit lengthy.
not if its titled FTG like it should be

I know Coutts, he was shit 15 years ago, must be nearly 40 now
Edit: Okay he is 33, and it was 10-13 years ago, but I bet he’s still shit!

a question i raised today at work was what will happen to new drivers? thing is,if new drivers pass their tests in electric cars, they wont be able to drive a manual petrol or diesel so would have to find cheaper electric first cars, cant see that happening for many years to come

surely the agent should have checked he was insured etc before telling him to get on with it.

benny ,coppell and pulis are the lowest for me. Sod got us jet so he gets an extra point for that. cotts and gj 9s, both brought lasting good times,i mean a seasons worth. millen was good too but shouldnt have risked the full managers job. pearson can have a 9 too, points deducted as time goes by if we dont pick up. why? because i like him
-
think they are overwhelmed by playing in a real stadium
-
do they now have a halftime tinpot record?
-
diony, likened himself to a bull, took us one game to liken him to a donkey with a pineapple on his bonce

The danger of putting Tins in charge for let’s say 3 months is he starts winning regularly.
I know that sounds daft but then what? You’d have the whole crowd wanting him to stay and then we all know what happens next, like Millen or Oli at Man Utd, it goes tits up, it nearly always does.
I know we could have this scenario with anyone but I wouldn’t want Tins to end his time with City like that again……….the 3 months of winning games would be quite welcome though…..
i was going to mention millen, brilliant no2 here and stood in a couple of times but returned to no2 with new managers, unfortunately,it seems if youtake the hot seat, and you get the bullet, (which you will eventually) you are out the door,no coming back. lets not even consider putting tinman through that again
