Three penalties in two games?!? What is happening?!?
I expected more from the team on the play/attacking front, but at least we got a point.

1. Dickie
2. James
3. Sykes
4. O'Leary
5. Knight
5B. Vyner

100% “pressure off” but at the end of the day winning breeds confidence and confident players perform.
For the moment, LM is proving me wrong. Long May that continue!
I'd say not 100% but the main reason yes. Agree with the rest.

What-a-result!
A really nice surprise from our Robins.

Superb win.
In the second half they were much better until our goal (really lucky with that gift to Vardy ), then we did well to protect the advantage and had some good moments upfront too. In the first half we were the better team, so overall a deserved result.

What an impact by Sykes!

AAAANIIIISSSSSSS!

Good City so far

Watching the game on DAZN Italy.
In the reverse fixture we did a good defensive job and they needed a penalty to win; honestly I expect a much harder game today, but...COYR!

Another loss to add more positivity...

Suicide squad.
Feeling angry now.

#@### off. Amateurish stuff.

YEESSSS! Three great passes, one header, goal.
Deserved. Now concentration high please.
-
For what we're doing upfront we should be ahead. Frustrating.

It didn't last long...

Tidy for 30 minutes or so, then we gave away the ball stupidly too many times; midfield's passing was not bad, a few sparks going forward, decent overall.
Cornick our best player so far, McCrorie not enough concentrated, Williams too nervous.

Match live on DAZN here. Pessimistic about the outcome...

Utter shite. How do we go from Southampton to three straight defeats against poor teams?
Optimistic answer: inconsistency.
Pessimistic answer: Saints, West Ham & co. having a bad day allowed us to perform better than our poor standard.
Then the tactical aspects (see Scrumpys message) are also to be considered.

Another chapter of an annoying trend. Starting to fear that we could be in trouble soon...

Zero points against QPR and Wednesday: embarassing!
I hope to see a reaction in the next weeks, but I'm quite pessimistic at the moment...
-
Not surprising but still disappointing. We can appear strong in some matches but the squad has too many weak points to challenge for a playoff spot.
With less iniuries in some moments of the season and a tactical plan B for some games, who knows...

In the second half we grew a lot on the attacking side of play, without losing shape in midfield and defence. Dickie's goal killed their confidence and our pressure made it difficult for them to regain control : shame about the penalty, but it didn't affect the result so no problem.
One of the best aspects? The performance of the reserves (Roberts + the subs).

It was the icing on the cake of a great season: a memorable night!
Three massive points for Leeds.
