Yes, great satisfaction for the European results, and there is still a chance to win the Italian Cup (like last season). In the league things are going quite bad, for a mix of things: some bad performances but also some hugely unlucky ones, problems of squad depth in some periods...and probably Napoli's surprising domination has had an influence too in terms of players motivations (see AC Milan, which are in a similar situation). Strange season, in some ways. ?

Deserved win for Inter. Second leg remains a tricky match, but this result is really positive and should give a big boost to the team. ?

For the effort and the quality shown in many moments of the match, a win would have been deserved...but in the 2nd half the visitors upped their game and had big chances too so a draw is fair overall. Shame that injuries always hit us, because even with a threadbare team we are showing promising things so with more luck, we could really dream. Maybe one day... ? -

Very good first half, made of fluid play, clever pressing and solid defending. We created more chances, being dangerous especially on the flanks, while defence coped well with their passing and physical threat, with only two real lapses of concentration (one for Max + one free header by one of their strikers). Impressive City so far and Cornick is showing his qualities. That being said, for the 2nd half I fear the tiredness of midfield could be a key factor, not having good options except a not fully fit Naismith -

Millwall and Blackburn doing harakiri, and Preston - which didn't look like a serious playoff candidate at all - is now there. Strange things happen in this league... ? -

Wilson not even on the bench? ? Really tough match today: not optimistic about the result, but with this team you never know... ?? -

Honestly I didn't expect a win today: great reaction after the two points dropped against Reading. Good job, lads! ? -

Two points dropped. It's a pity, because we will face better teams soon so we should take chances like today. Positives: Tommy is back, more minutes played by Taylor-Clarke. -

What a comeback from Tommy! Curious to see how he will link with Mehmeti. -

Disappointing performance and result, but current Bristol City is far from its best version so it's not surprising to see the team struggle, even against out-of -form sides. We did quite well in previous matches against Swansea, today it was different. Now a bit of deserved rest for most of the lads, with some time to recover players and sharpness. COYR! -
Fully deserved. That being said, hopefully next season he won't be forced to play all those games, with Wilson back or a new signing as reserve RB.

An unforgettable season, that 2009/10... ? Talking about now...I see Benfica as favourites too, but never say never... ? Unlucky draw for the English teams.

Losing by one goal away to a high-flying team is OK. Good effort from Nigel & the players, considering all the problems we are having. -

Wilson not ready yet? Anyway, a good chance to impress for Cornick. Not much optimism about tonight's result, but as always...COME ON YOU REDS!! EDIT: bugger, already 1 down! ? -

We've already enough injury problems so I wouldn't risk another key player. O'Leary; Tanner, Vyner, Pring, Dasilva; Sykes, Scott, Weimann; Cornick, Wells, Mehmeti. Scott more playmaker than attacking midfielder because with such a midfield we should try to be more balanced, so Mehmeti should also do some of Scott's usual work, linking midfield and attack. Cornick in the starting XI because he needs to play in order to gain more confidence with the team, but also because Bell is running like a fool in every match and could benefit from some rest. King as first sub for midfield, with Sykes or Weimann possibly pushed forward. -

? Highly improbable, I know, but we could struggle in the next matches and lose positions so...still better not to lose against teams behind us. -

That's why I'd try the versatile Sykes in the midfield trio, playing Weimann as right winger. King can be useful but he can't guarantee 90 minutes, not to mention 2 games in a row. -

Disappointing result, but given the chances they had in the second half, I'd say it's a fair one: we couldn't create much despite the attacking subs and had some sloppy moments in passing and defending. Well, one point closer to safety. -

Monologue by City, except for a few minutes: overall good play and many chances (what a miss by King!)for us, almost nothing for them, who were often rude. We should have had a clear pen, but we risked too with Dasilva. Weimann or Mehmeti in the second half?
