I thought his performances lacked a real consistency, but never though a lack of effort tbh. When we saw genuine good movement ahead of him in Afobe for that small period he flourished. As you say, was an Ashton/Johnson signing that didn’t quite work out, but was plenty of them.

Nothing wrong with being jealous of the success. If you're not jealous of it then what do you really want for City? Snobbishness is different, I'm not sure I've seen too much of it on here. I don't for one second think we deserve it more than them! - If anyone does think that way, why? Most just making the point that another two non parachute payment teams that have come up into the Championship more recently than us are now competing to play in the best division in the world. If anything, it gives me hope that we can do it.

Mental how many chances he's had. I'd rather see any of the batters named in the rest of that 15 open than him. I hope he does shut up the doubters like myself but I just cant see it. If I'm Foakes and that first test or two goes tits up, I'd be like thanks but no thanks, I'll enjoy my summer now.

Not too sure a reserve side should be allowed to play above county league tbh. Quite a few complaints about Bitton going straight into Div 1 as well. Strange that they’d opt for 19 teams in the Prem. Why not just leave Keynsham where they were? Mind you, they probably don’t fancy the away days at Helston, Torpoint & Falmouth much.

I see Zak Crawley was out for 7 today. Saw a stat a moment ago saying 50% of his innings in the county champ this season have ended with a single digit score. Did hit 170 v Essex the other week though. But not sure it happens enough for him to be a mainstay in the England side. I look forward to him facing Starc first ball of the Ashes and us seeing a repeat of Rory Burns in 2021.

Not too sure, you have to think League One & most of League Two average attendance wise is probably much higher than that and it's rarely ever televised. But then the WSL may be cheaper to buy rights for I suppose. So less in the way of getting it on TV.

Had a deal lined up at Port Vale prior to Darrell Clarke being sacked, so not too sure if they'll end up going for it anyway, got 4 in 14 games I think. A lot of Oxford fans seem to think he's finished at the level.

Must've watched 20 games across Hellenic/Toolstation Level & another 20+ at Somerset County level this season. Found it really enjoyable. The standard is obviously miles off of what you'd get down the gate, but you do still spot the odd player from time to time & games seem to have a bit more bite to them. Not seen it mentioned but Nailsea & Tickenham got promoted again to Toolstation Prem after a promotion last season from Somerset County Prem which is impressive. Oldland Abbotonians joined them the other day after winning the play offs. Saw Ashton & Backwell are dropping down two leagues back into Somerset County Prem & that potentially Nailsea & Tickenham will be using their ground next season.

I agree actually. Voted for Webster out of the other choices. Maybe harsh but I don’t think Bryan should be near that list.

People don’t realise just how good Stones is. He’s so good ? we’re so lucky to have him. Maguire also usually pretty good for England, them two as a pairing have done pretty well so I can see why Southgate sticks with them despite all the fan pressure to change. Never rated Dier much, but think Guehi gets in as a left footer for balance tbh. Also, I think webster has been on the bench quite a bit this season hasn't he?
