Does this mean the rumours are true and he's off to Rangers?
-
his last game before taking to the pitch in the opener vs Millwall was against Germany in the World Cup knockout stages, very much a contemporary England goalkeeper that summer
-
he had a goal disallowed at AG, clear handball mind

you forgot Rovers... ...always wanted to see us play Willand

This one means more than most to us ciderheads exiled in Devonshire…. COYR -
52 will do it, maybe 50 - but 2 wins and 2 draws ideally required imo

Anyone but us

Looking to catch the race after the game tomorrow - as i’m not local any suggestions on a decent pub along north street/in the direction of the station? can only think of the sports bar or the rising sun/masonic that have sky sports in the area?

Having lived in Cardiff it's a big one for me. Got a mate coming over from Pontcanna for this one - converting him from a neutral to a City fan

"We only laugh at the Torquay" is what Argyle fans used to sing. I've been to Exeter vs Torquay and Exeter vs Plymouth games and there is simply no comparison. As previous posters have mentioned its like us and yeovil, not much in it. Exeter vs Argyle though... now that is tasty. Must be the second biggest derby in these parts after us against the blue few

I am planning on using it on Good Friday. I suspect it will be the usual timings - first service (the £1 one) is 2.5 hours prior to kick off
-
I would add a +1 to the portway park and ride option. Used it for the past 2 seasons, coming in from the M4 Eastbound, it's pretty handy - buses are very regular, start 2.5 hours before kick off and run through to 2 hours after full time (I think) and are every 15 or so mins.

Hopefully will improve for the way back!

I sacked it and walked to the train station

put some respect on Paul Hartley's name -
Could have sworn you were referring to the 3 moaning musketeers behind me in the South Stand. Against Millwall we had all the usual groans about backwards passing, and even a claim that Manning makes the players 'run too fast'. The fact that I would guess they've been watching football for decades longer than me, yet still have such a poor grasp of the fundamentals is beyond belief.

Our second game with VAR... First was another FA Cup tie during the covid season vs Premier League Sheff Utd (think purple shirts, Alfie Mawson and Ryley Towler). Mawson was sent off & Sheff Utd awarded a pen via VAR, which Billy Sharp (of course) duly tucked away. Man City cup tie was pre VAR - a better time!

On this day: 03/01/2009 - Portsmouth 0-0 City - FA Cup 3rd Round

my abiding memory of this is a Pompey fan in what I presume was a Christmas gift, a cream jumper/cardigan, getting so irate with City fans chanting at him about it, he eventually took it off and threw it on the ground, only to be escorted out by Hants Police about 10 seconds later. A prime example of 1 vs 1000s in a gesticulation/shouting match, the 1 is never gonna win -
why are we so backwards ffs

Name a worse city game than that…
