  1. “My career then sort of went downhill a little bit, I ended up down at Cardiff”. Ha ha ha, love it!!
  2. About time our players began winding the opposition players up
  3. Refreshing interview, pulls no punches and tells it as it is
  4. That game really sticks out for me. Was certain we’d go up that season
  5. Happy to pay the £10 for the game for me and my daughter to watch. Would have cost me 5 times that to go to the gate and watch. No need to try and stream it for free
  6. Fans say negative things about pretty much every player during there time at a club, particularly when they can hide behind the screens using Twitter. I’ve seen a fair few Leeds fans say how much of a liability Ayling was and he went in to win player of the year
  7. Fam has to play and should play IMO. If he plays and puts on a MOTM performance then that is going to make the club more likely to give in to his wage demands. I don’t think his commitment would wander just yet. I think that may happen later on in the season. If he was given a new four year deal, who’s to say he would put in the same level of performance and commitment he did over the past few seasons? He could put his feet up knowing he’s doubled his wages with a big fat signing on fee. Fortunately I don’t think he’s that type of player. I think he’ll be just as committed regardless
  8. Agree with you completely! Ultimately football is a results business and so DH will be judged on that alone. He could be the nicest guy on the planet but if the results don’t go the way we all want, the fans will be right in their initial opinion when he was appointed
  9. Quality shirt. My only criticism is it won’t arrive before my lads birthday at the end of the month.
  10. Tomlin definitely had a place off of Cumberland Road overlooking the docks as I know someone who viewed it when he was selling it. Whether he stayed there is another matter
  11. He doesn’t look ready at the moment. Another loan deal looms for him
  12. Great signing, especially on a free. I thought the whole point of the Gavin and Stacey tweet was a cringe moment but in a good way. Think people need to lighten up a little. Seems people want to bash the club no matter what they do. The amount of Coldplay references I’ve seen since the Chris Martin rumours began made it an obvious choice (maybe too obvious).
  13. Love both Shaun Taylor and Louis Carey but they aren’t as good as Webster. Bigger club legends tho
  14. There’s been a few. I would go with the OP and say Stewart was the one I was most excited for at the time. I always thought he was on a different level to the other players when he signed but slowly got brought down to their level
  15. Following Man City on Instagram now. Reckon he’s just pushing for another bumper pay rise
  16. I believe he is. Tin man posted a vid of him back around March time doing keep ups but haven’t seen much else about him since those rumours in 2019
  17. Top pro. A good dependable player when called upon.
  18. I’m gonna put money on stoke to go up. Ended the season well and think they’ll carry on the momentum
  19. I must be in the minority but I don’t mind it. The design is based on the marble inside Highbury so when you think of it like that, it’s not a bad choice.
