  1. The difference in the team today was the lack of movement up front as a result of not having Afobe. I think both Fammy and Semmy were disappointing today but we won so I dont care.
  2. Just out of curiosity if the Lansdown stand was to be mirrored throughout the stadium, has anyone got an idea of what the capacity would be? If you look at the stadium from above the Lansdown only sticks out an extra 3 to 5 yards or so, so you could if conditions allowed develop the ground without having to buy the houses just some of the land and compensate the houses on Ashton rd for their loss of light. There is nothing wrong with dreaming that one day we could require that capacity though I doubt I will ever be here to see it.
  3. Watching the Spurs game now and trying to work out how the hold on Alli does not even warrant a review. I for one wanted VAR but the way it is being used I am glad we dont have it in the Championship
  4. This I dont care how famous or how much money someone has, if you to take away someones freedom for any period of time then it should be the same for everyone. I disagreed with the sentence Booker etc got for the same reason. I have never agreed with making examples and never will. The law is supposed to be fair and in this case I dont think it is. Now if everyone got sent down for this I for one would not have a problem.
  5. I was in Scotland last week for the Foos and hired a car to pop over to Edinborough (lovely city) and didnt even consider having a drink due to their stricter drink drive laws.
  6. As someone who used to stay in a pub right next to Bury's ground when I worked in greater Manchester, trust me when I say yes they are.
  7. Thats like saying the same in Bristol for City and the sags. Theyre the same...RIVALS.
  8. It really felt like at times that we were playing with 10 men in the last 20 mins last night.
  9. Please stay at home then.
  10. If we had made this signing a year ago everyone would have been creaming in their pants. Yes he has had a poor season at Stoke but let's take a look at Stoke for one minute. An absolute shambles of a club at the moment. If we can get him back to the form he showed at Wolves then we have a quality player on our hands and certainly up there with the best on our long list of striker targets.
  11. I'm absolutely buzzing for tomorrow
  12. TBH and i am just guessing but looks like we have now gone through all our targets and are now clutching at straws. In which case bad deals are usually done. I cant believe I am saying this but we now go with what we have and hope that Semmy is a good as all the pundits were saying he was when he was on the cup run with Newport.
  13. I dont know if you know how the transfer window works but we now have to wait til January and not tomorrow Sorry, I couldnt resist.
