  5. I should ad, Clarks pie were a Cardiff company formed by a lady who I believe was a cook/ maid for some rich bloke. She used to make extra pies and sell them until she started her own company which her two sons took over. One still lives in Cardiff and the other moved to Bristol. Both still make Clarks pies but the pastry is different. The Welsh ones have a flatter and softer top pastry and ours have a harder pastry. They even look slightly different.
  6. Has anyone had a Welsh one? Pastry is very different.
  7. Offended, dont make me laugh. Takes a lot more than a keyboard warrior to make me offended but you believe what you want to believe.
  8. From a money perspective I see what you ate trying to say but don't think you have worded it at all well. It's not like we bought a shit player and he has gone for nothing. The guy has a illness that could not be forseen and as such it's hard to make any kind of judgement. It's no different to Dean Horrix (spl) who died in a car accident just after we signed him. It's a situation far beyond out control and can't be looked at from a business sense in my opinion. There is also the personal factor to take into account, I am sure if Ross is reading this he will be hurt that through no fault of his own some view him a waste of money. I hope other posters can respond with some level of dignity and thought I meant Griftys post
  9. Why? The first post was about some of the posts on here regarding griftys post and the second was me responding to griftys post ( though I quated the wrong post)
  10. Does not change the fact that some of the posts on here have been damn right out of order and if you think they are acceptable then that says a lot about you.

  12. Some of these posts are out of order. Just because the OP has posted something that you and I by the way disagree with does not mean he should be insulted like he is. This forum used to have a policy of attack the post and not the poster, well that seems to have ended. Just because someone thinks different to you does not mean they should be abused. I bet those attacking would not dare to do it to someone's face. COWARDS
  13. I was chatting to two Oxford fans on the way out of Wembley after the Malta game ( now that was shite) and they are adamant ( if not a little bitter) that he will have us playing some great attractive football. I did ask what players we will be nicking off them next and their smiles turned into growls..
  14. Never said that I wanted him sacked, I said all along they should have let him.see out his contract and then moved on. Just pointing out over his time at City his defence and games thrown away late in the game was horrendous. Rose tinted glasses me thinks from some people. As JL pointed out a large proportion of the fan base would probably not have had a problem before this season if City had let him go.
  15. You are joking. NP defences were some of the worst I have seen at City. The amount of games we threw away in the last few minutes should have cost home his job on its own.
  16. I was at Wembley Friday so missed out on his comms. I was having great fun with everyone else throwing paper aeroplanes at the pitch ( I'm a rebel).
  17. Thoughts on Dublin on commentary?
  18. That Slabhead foul was deffo a pen looking at thise replays. The sort of pen we never get at the gate.
  19. Slabheads was one for me but not that one. However, let's not let the referees performance deflect from another awful England performance. More time was spent at Wembley on Friday by the fans making and throwing paper aeroplanes that watching the awful performance against Malta.
  20. I like it, Plain and simple. I should add, it was in the sun, so probably fake.
  21. Neither were wanted and neither were deemed good enough but both gave us our best seasons since the 70's. Steve Coppell, Tony Pullis, SOD great record and yet fecked us up. Give up with this underwhelmed crap i keep seeing posted ffs. Liam Manning Welcome to the club.
  22. Doesnt look match fit to me. I think he was rushed back and with Wells getting injured has probably had a lot more game time than planned. Its a very young age to be playing the amount of football he does.
  23. I've picked out one key aspect from both NPs interview after the Cardiff game and the boy wonders on RB. Injuries. NP seems to go out of his way to talk about how they were all contact injuries and then JL spent a good portion of his interview talking about how the injuries were preventable. I get the impression that conversations were already had between NP and the board about the state of injuries and wonder if NP knew they would be using it as a reason
