  1. How frustrating was that. Was looking forward to seeing some old faces. As usual useless tannoy system in the Dolman and why didn't they walk round the pitch? No good to me and others in the Dolman huddling in the corner of the South and Lansdown stands. Well done City yet another useless idea. Good game though.
  2. Be interesting to see what version of City's 1st team he puts out Saturday.
  3. LJ's rough guide to football management. Not in stock at the mo but Amazon taking orders. Free postage with prime
  4. Spoiled for choice as he has too many players to choose from i feel and doesn't know how to play them. Even now i still don't know how we are trying to play, he makes all these changes week in week out and it always turns out the same. Think he lacks a bit of nous to be fair. Would love to see him take us into the Prem but i don't think he is the man to do it unfortunately. I'm surprised SL has stuck with him for so long he must be pulling his hair out by now. Be interesting to see what happens if we lose against Fulham. COYR's
  5. Relieve LJ of his duties get Warnock in until end of the season to stabilise us and also give us that new manager bounce. Then look for someone in the meantime to take us forward next season.
  6. Yet another supporter for over 50 years and i must admit it does seem to be hard going at the mo. Even tho we are just outside the playoffs. As someone has mentioned it does seem too American and i must admit i'm not completely happy with the match day experience these days. Downsey tries his best but he doesn't do it for me. We need someone with a stronger character, voice and bigger connection with the club (Scotty?) to get the ground going i feel. Also don't like giving the whole of the Atyeo to away fans. With the acoustics in the stand it makes it like a home game for them. Stick them at the top of the Lansdown out the way. Hasn't stopped me from renewing for next season tho. At the end of the day they are my team and somebody's got to support them week in week out  Anyways onwards and upwards eh? COYR's. You never know with City we might just go and bloody well do it!
  7. Preffered the football in the old days. Too corporate for me these days. Used to be us now it's them and us. Don't feel connected with the club anymore.
  8. Embarrassing. And against a lower league side who have lost their last 2 matches. Lost for words.
  9. Well said E. Supported for 50 years here and feel exactly the same. I just feel LJ has built such a large squad he just doesn't know what his best team is now. He is spoilt for choice. It seems he's not able to manage so many players yet i think he feels comfortable with such a large amount. You cant keep making signings when things are not going your way Lee, at times you have to manage the situation with the resources to hand, especially when they are your players which you have mainly bought in yourself. How many more do you need for gods sake? Ok maybe a striker and midfielder, but get rid of the non performers and ones for the future that aren't. TBH I am not a great fan of Lee (as a player or manager) and wasn't over the moon when he was appointed. I feel that we do need someone more experienced in position now to take us that step further. Think that he has taken us as far as he can. SL must be pulling his hair out with his lack of consistency and surely must be thinking now of getting rid now. Whatever happens i will still support them they are my club at the end of the day. It is not the first time we have gone through a bad patch either. I remember the days of our fall to the old 4th division. Come on you Reds get your act together. Onwards and upwards.
  10. Well said PB. I was there and spoke with a few SW fans after the match. Not the best game and they thought a draw would of been a fair result. They also thought the ref was poor even though he tried his hardest to give them the win throughout. And of course he succeeded in the end. How he had the cheek to apologise after the match as well is beyond me. Does LJ really know his best side? I don't know. Very frustrating at the mo.
  11. Sad news. RIP Gerry. Fond memories of your playing days. Condolences to all the family.
  12. We'll be there, going up Sat to stay overnight at the Prem Inn and enjoy some Sheffield hospitality in the Northern Soul bars and restaurants Reds!
  13. Totally agree. But who am i to say, iv'e only been supporting them for 50 years! So bloody frustrating. Come on Lee sort it out.
