To fully evaluate what any player brings they need to have a run of at least 10 full games. After that we’d have an idea and able to form an assessment - Twine has been injured, hardly trained and therefore not fully match fit and played half a dozen games - in all of those he didn’t play the full game and yet you feel qualified to pass judgement on a player you’ve hardly seen………….
Anyway it’s irrelevant. He won’t be at City next season.
Unbelievable! You point out all the reasons why we shouldn't buy him... and then criticise me for coming to my conclusion BASED on all your reasons stated!
I believe there must be better.

Twine has hardly played - 6 games apparently. Some of those would have been away so those, like me who only watch City at AG these days have seen him around three times and with him not being fully match sharpe. Its way early to start drawing conclusions about what he offers.
Anyway I doubt that he’ll be at City next season.
Way to early?
We only have a handful of games left and I can't see him suddenly improving that much in that time.
We only have what we see with our own eyes and IMHO.... it's a no from me.
So, with your backside fixed firmly on the fence.... which side would you jump? Keep or no?
If being honest and with bugger all to play for, I'd much prefer to see some academy prospects get some game time.

You’ve got to tell a few white lies these days to get a job…
Also a few blatant lies to explain why we lost the last incumbent....

This post is similar to the stew I just cooked. I haven’t cooked it for a while because I was bored of it, I cooked it anyway and it was crap. I won’t be cooking it again. Obviously for me it’s interesting and annoying - for everyone else a complete waste of time.
Not another one! MODS!!!!!

Should we be worried someone will come in for Max in the summer?
Currently rated top for shots saved % for Champ GK who have played over 23 games this season.

Huge respect to Pat Mountain for sticking by him and willing to give him chance when Bentley left.
@Davefevs any chance of a chart to compare other keepers in the league please?
Huge respect to who?
Think you'll find it was Pearson....

We haven't even come close as a club to the togetherness and the fan connection that we had in 14/15. It was the us v the world siege mentality that Cotts instilled in the club that i loved at the time. We so desperately need that again IMO, that is when this football club is at it's best.
Completely agree with this and in my opinion we were getting there under Nige until the chuckle brothers enjoyed a self harming session for the club and many supporters.
All their protestations have turned to dust, and they should be ashamed of their actions.

He was a punt that didn't work out but it's not really a big deal.
He's become a "pathway blocker" which I thought we didn't want anymore.
Bring on one of our own wasn't it?
I think it's a big deal for Yeboah and possibly others from the academy.
What's that noise?..... oh it's one of the 5 pillars crashing to the ground....

It was a purely personal decision based on the inability of the hierarchy to manage someone who I can image can be challenging and confrontational. They required someone who followed the establishment line and did what they were told instead.
So trying to analyse it by reference to sensible criteria and trying to judge it against rational footballing outcomes unfortunately will not work. In the end the hierarchy decided that their egos were more important than on the field success. They perceived he was "challenging and confrontational" for one reason and one reason only.....
They didn't like the fact that....
HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS ******* TALKING ABOUT!!
and they didn't.....

Be careful, I did that with "Travis" who then transformed into "chased by mods".....
And got banned for it (short I know) but nevertheless, banned.

Yes impressed with his passing out today and the throws rather than the kicks that sometimes can be a bit wayward.
Sorry, almost (actually should have), cost us the game today with the hospital pass out to Zak who was immediately tackled by 2 forwards.
Really bad and should have been punished.
-
Max's distribution on point?
Sorry no. The hospital pass he gave to Zac who was immediately tackled by 2 forwards which lead to 2 clear cut chances was appalling!
Any other day and we are one down.
