I suspect that this was probably the referees fault...

This is almost the angle I saw it from, and it is without doubt a penalty. Well done for capturing it Ani Harish (change the playback speed to 0.25 for the clearest view)

What is the current mood on gaschat please? If City lost 2-0 at home on the Saturday and the Tuesday, OTIB would be in meltdown. When I try accessing gaschat I'm met with;

It’ll be funny (and typical of them) were they to demolish the existing stand then decide not to proceed with the rebuild.

Wouldn't that be irony rather than hypocrisy? I doubt it was being sung because it was the darts theme tune and I doubt too many even know that's what it was!
No it is hypocrisy to hate Sky TV but love the darts... as popularised by Sky TV. I suspect most know the tune from the darts rather than from 'Chase the Sun' by Planet Funk.

Did anybody enjoy, as much as I did, the rendition of, "Sky TV is ****ing sh*te" closely followed by Sky TVs theme music for the darts? I love football fan hypocrisy, dating back to the seventies when "Red flag" was accompanied by Nazi salutes. Marvellous.

For me today opens up lots of questions, mainly centred around - why haven’t we played with that intent over the last x games, why have we too readily dropped into a low block, etc, etc?
The opportunity has been there!
I hope he’s learned what works for Bristol City at this level and he kicks on.
For me the term 'low block' remains interchangeable with 'parking the bus'. It has less negative connotations but it still means putting players behind the ball, playing to frustrate the opponents, and playing anti-football. I can't wait for the next term to come along; "Manning Defence", something like that, but equally hateful.

Luton, Fulham, Brentford, Wigan, Charlton and Barnsley; Championship clubs so much smaller than R*v*rs that they are not even in the Championship. Only five on his list of eleven Championship clubs are in the Championship. A great effort though. He must be prowed.
R*v*rs have been in the Championship in the (distant) past, they are a lot smaller than they were.

Despite supposedly losing the dressing room, being out of his depth, and boring I'd say our manager deserves a lot of credit for today's excellent victory against Premier League bound Leicester.
Although I expect several of you to disagree.
I disagree. I think Leicester are far from being Premier League bound.
You Reds!

Is there still panic that we will go down and if not why not as surely one win shouldn’t change someone’s view
But it is one win where others not only lost points but have fewer games to make up the deficit. So one win makes a bigger difference than just the three points. It is all in context. This is why I feel we are safe. As much as things could go wrong for us, there are a lot of teams for which things have to go very right for your nightmare scenario. Look at it another way, who is currently 9 points above us and how likely do you feel it is that we will catch them before the end of the season? And, if we do catch them, how likely is it that we will be in the position in the table that they currently occupy?
