  1. Fair enough but he also complained about the temperature of the showers at Ashton Gate when manager,】 with no real reason to take a shower with his players other than perversion. It's a no from me.
  2. What the fudge was he doing wearing a jockstrap when managing Rotherham aged 68? The bloke is weird, really weird.
  3. Considering who the ref was I felt that their number 4 and our Joe Williams were both lucky to stay on the pitch. The Lansdown side linesman was clueless and Stroud made some key decisions for him. He missed some fouls and played on with players on the ground in obvious discomfort but in all honesty I barely noticed him which is remarkable because he is the centre of his own universe.
  4. No mate, not in the same way.
  5. But Keagan nets the rebound .... sorry wrong joke.
  6. This has to be wrong surely? Did they miss the biggest and best supported team in League One? Bigger than Norwich, Palace and Blackburn? https://www.efl.com/news/2022/august/fans-come-out-in-huge-numbers-for-efl-opening-weekend/
  7. ... except that they have already caught us for the Cardiff game? Sunday 12noon kick off.
  8. I do like that the pundits all mention Naismith and Wilson but fail to mention Sykes who arguably has impressed the most in pre-season.
  9. Interestingly Neighbours final episode is on Friday, let's hope nothing happens to him before the season starts.
  10. Call me a bit of a snob but I'm finding it hard to believe that BristolWorld published "off-of-the-ball" as if it is a thing... https://www.bristolworld.com/sport/football/bristol-city/who-stood-out-and-what-happened-as-bristol-city-beat-bournemouth-for-unbeaten-pre-season-3779573
  11. It doesn't bother me at all, we didn't have the Internet back then.
  12. Lots of Birmingham City fans are moaning about Bristol City fans using #BCFC . I'd suggest they choose a different one if it upsets them so much. #BrummieBastards for example.
  13. I wonder what I did? Maybe it was this?
  14. I guess this is some sort of match report?
  15. Blige.... https://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/teams/b/bristol-city/old-bristol-city-football-shirt-s85824.html
  16. If you have a spare 20 minutes this gives an interesting rationale behind Bournemouth not increasing their capacity. If you haven't got a spare 20 minutes the rationale is that investment in training infrastructure and the team itself is more cost effective than any income generated from increased capacity. Which is pretty much the point you were making.
