  1. Well let's put it this way, it doesn't look good does it?
  2. Rugby is truly a strange sport, I was wondering why Bath were given a point in their match against Bristol after losing, apparently you get a point for losing by 7 or less points, what dumb idea? And today they drew 31 all with Gloucester and they both earned 3 points, 2 for the draw and 1 each for scoring 4 tries. This means that Bath who have played 2 lost one, won none and drawn one have 4 points the same as Bristol, ******* mental.
  3. Not impressed with the referee, the sending off of Smith was questionable and since he has allowed a similar offence by Saracen's punished only by a penalty and then a high tackle by Ajose not punished at all, followed by Bristol camped on Sarries line and 3/4 offences in a row committed by Sarries should have ended by a yellow card but never and then Sarries foul play eventually rewarded with a turnover. But I have to say Bristol really fought hard especially after the sending off, the score flatters Saracens.
  4. Give em break FFS, every prowed gashead is taught that 4500 is a significantly higher number than 8000.
  5. I think you missed a 0 out, it should be 20k a week for 1 mil.
  6. Not really, the individuals need to be in the full kit.
  7. Now come on surely somebody can photoshop the famous blue and white quarters onto this photograph and title it 2018/19 team photo shoot in front of the new stand. Must do better.
  8. Luatua was the best player on the field, Thacker looks a legend in the making and a special mention for Smith who I thought was just awesome at the age of 38 years old, always there, always prepared to quietly get on with the ugly stuff, his and Luatua's knowledge of the game will be pivotal to Bristol's season.
  9. One them new fangled tents with no poles to hold it up, it must be like some sort of witchcraft.
  10. Suggest that perhaps you take a very close look at photograph number one that you attached to your post and then accept a mighty woosh.
  11. Nice to hear Drink up thy cider after the game and then there is this.
  12. What a ******* game, Bath made far too many mistakes and Bristol fought for their lives. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Great start and beating Bath as always a huge bonus.
  13. Great win, great performance and a clean sheet and I have to admit 5 more points than I was expecting out of the last 2 games, Kalas looks a player, he and Webster looked as if they had played together for ages, we kept them mainly at long range. I only have a few of little niggles, we should have scored more, as good as Hunt is he worries me by seeming to be oblivious to where his man far too often for our own good and from 65 minutes until 80 minutes we surrendered too much midfield territory, but regained it going into the last 10 minutes. Diedhiou to come back and hopefully another urgently required midfielder and looking more cohesive.
  14. Firstly I am surprised at how average Swansea look. We have have played some really neat football and look comfortable all over the pitch, especially in defence. But we need to take our chances. Eliasson looks dangerous but should have scored. Watkins going off seems like a blessing, ODowda looks far more threatening. I love Pack in his role as captain, he seems born to the job to me, just like the captain that we haven’t had for such a long time at the club. I cannot understand how McBurnie has not been booked, the referee has been overly lenient with him. Overall a very good half, I repeat we need to take our chances, we look a far better side than them.
  15. Trust me it's true. I was just helping Mrs Bung cleaning ornaments and whilst polishing an old lamp that we have, a genie popped out in puff of smoke and told me I had only one wish (because I should have given him a rub more often) and my wish was, what was going on with the Black Arabs. Whats not to believe?
  16. Breaking news All of their financial problems are over and the reason that Mr Wael has been evasive with answers and confidentiality has been revealed in the latest long term strategy. Mr Wael has been waiting anxiously for the legal paperwork of a very secret deal to go through. And today it has and here are the details. About 3 months ago whilst on the orders of his mother and brothers he was taking one of the families camels to market, where Mr Wael met a man who offered him a deal involving the exchanging of the camel for a handful of magic beans and after an agonising wait worrying that the infidel Mr Lansdown would outbid him, but the deal has gone through. Henbury gas will be supervising the planting of the beans at the Leper colony Almondsbury and Mr Wael will be ceremonially carried shoulder high from Almondsbury to Ikea Eastville, where the flat packs of the Gas latest stadium re build will be collected and delivered to the Memorial stadium, ready for a delay in erecting them because Henbury gas has been placed in charge of the instructions.
  17. I find it incredible that here in the 21st century that a so called professional football club can be allowed to erect a piece of shit like that, all I can say is that it fits in well with the other tents.
  18. In the first half we backed off far too much not tackling, that changed in the 2nd half and resulted in the one gift of a chance that you mention. In the first because of our backing off tactic QPR had 4 shots on goal from inside the area and 4 from the edge of the area, our first goal could not have come at a better time, it literally killed the game. It was a much needed win but up until our goal we rode our luck.
  19. It was always going to be a tricky game and it wasn't pretty, we scored 3 great goals and it is a much needed 3 points, but be honest we rode our luck at times and once more the luck we needed to ride was all self inflicted, if we had missed the chances that QPR missed I think there would have been uproar. I agree with the Middlesborough analogy to a degree but we have to cut out the defensive errors.
  20. Well you won't get an argument from me over that statement, just look at the evidence 0-3.
  21. Proof that sometimes it doesn't have to be pretty, the only bit of real skill for City was Taylor's wonderful goal. It has been an awful game between 2 teams who look as if they are going to struggle this season and for the first half an hour we certainly rode our luck. Our keeper has done really well, and so has Kelly, the rest of the defence looks dodgy to me, Brownhill has saved the defence on several occasions tonight, Eliasson looks ok but needs the ball more, Pack has been poor his passing radar has generally been off I suspect our tactics do not suit him at all, Watkins and Wiemann have been poor but Taylor with the right service tonight could be our match winner. I would consider Walsh for Watkins at half time.
