Will this be our biggest away fixture gate since Wembley playoff? ( sorry to bring it up)
Biggest away following for a non-play off final since Coventry in 1977?

some people have specifically paid for upper or lower, seated or standing. I would hope people will stay in their specific section.
Absolutely no chance of getting into the wrong section, totally separate entrances.

I imagine LM wasn't as measured and dispassionate when he debriefs the team about that loss, as he was on the radio!
I can't imagine Manning either smashing tea cups at half time, spinning a ball boy around or bouncing around the ground.
"follow the process and win or lose, don't show any emotion"

My first Christmas without my wife, who passed away 5 weeks ago. 66 years together...62 as a married couple. Our children have provided wonderful support to me....but Christmas will never be the same as before

Just a thread to give credit to the staff and everyone responsible for running the Heineken hospitality lounge.
We had a group of 10 of us in there, some of them for the first time, last night. From our arrival the welcome was warm and genuine. The food, a buffet style beef curry or chicken and chips followed by Christmas pudding, was really good.
Paul Cheesley is the host, he had a chat with Rob Newman and Kai Naismith. Then a few of our old legends including Tom Ritchie, Geoff Merrick and Trevor Tainton mingled with fans for a chat and selfies.
Good seats for the game right outside of the balcony. Back inside for a pie at half time and then obviously the result made the night complete.
Price last night was £81 including a 10% season ticket discount.
If you have a group of friends or family, or even a couple of you on a shared table, planning a bit of a treat, I would highly recommend it.
Well done all.

Who makes these fixtures up?
Thet normally take thousands to Blackpool on a Bank Holiday weekend (with thousands more locked out)

Collected mine from the ticket office tonight

Lansdown Stand has one set of turnstiles for the upper and lower tiers. How can you get 2,000 away fans up to the upper Lansdown?

Two away games during Christmas week. Plus the West Ham match.
Most will have to choose between Watford or Birmingham

I’ve been wondering how many we took to Forest in the league cup semi and how that would compare to West Ham. Feels like yesterday! But I’ve got no idea on how many of us were there (felt a lot though). I was at the MKD one more recently too and yes that was around 5k. I’ve also just been reminiscing about Rovers 1 City 2 at Eastville as 40 years ago (Dec 83) and felt packed on the terraces that day.
Eastville '83 nowhere near that number, (14,396 total attendance)
Eastville '75 (the 4-1 win) near 10,000 City fans (20,933)
Eastville '76 (promotion season 0-0) well over 10,000 City fans (26,430)

I'm really looking forward to the next two home games. 8 of us out for a curry after Sunderland match and then Heineken Hospitality against Hull.
We desperately need some points, forget the playing style, just grind out some results.

Too many whoppers on here delighted that we lost. Embarrassing. No doubt a load of otib celebrations when the full time whistle went.
