Silent Majority? Johnson In or Johnson Out?

If i was a gambling man i would bet not a lot if any is coming back... As the football club no longer owns the stadium i would guess any event that hires it or part of it as a venue would pay Ashton gate Stadium ltd and wouldn't even be surprised if BCFC and BRFC are only tenants and paying rent. I am sure someone on here knows this info and will update us. Has anyone hired out part of/all the stadium as a venue and who did they pay would be good to know.

Silent Majority? Johnson In or Johnson Out?

In - But as others have stated he has until end of October at latest to prove we are progressing and he has turned things around.

Getting to the top v staying at the top

Remember it well , that walk from the train station up Chepstow road and a big ruck on the George st bridge junction. Then in the ground those flying helmets...

The Championship is the limit for us

Fully agree with most of what you say and it does look to be our top level unless we are bought out by someone who has the desire and will fully commit to whatever it takes to own a premier league club. I think that we will coast along and if so perhaps it will get very boring , my Leeds supporting mates hardly go now because of this reason. I guess Ipswich fans probably feel the same way to. Perhaps if we continue to yo-yo as we have since i first going in the late 80s we will get some entertainment all be it a relegation dog fight or the joys of a L1 promotion .

Could the 'Singing Section' be in jeopardy?

Not being funny but do they actually sing anymore? Since they have moved from the Atyeo I very rarely hear them in Dolman B block.

Which game, Hull or Sheff Utd?

Have been thinking the same as well , cant really be bothered to go to either but probably will go saturday as the weather forecast looks good and cant beat a day in the sun , few beers and football. Probably wont bother with Sheff Utd one as i will miss my weekly lie in and also parking will be worse than ever.

    AG1 - Portway P&R

Yes so works out expensive if you have a car full ... £20.! Which is why we dont use it but would like to as then we wouldn't need to get to AG for stupid o clock to find somewhere to park.

Finally. LJ can effect a game!

He should of bought Kent on at some point in second half, we needed someone to run at them and try and create something.

    Mick McCarthy leaves Ipswich early

Your tractor boys could of kept playing for another week and still not scored. They really looked hopeless unorganised and just really didn’t look interested. We should of absolutely battered you today as you were for the taking but this is where we always seem to come stuck. We just struggle to break these type of teams down where there are 9 men behind the ball.

The Bristol City v Ipswich Town Match Day Thread 38

Just a heads up that a mobile speed camera is on the portway just past Bristol manor farm ground as you head towards the gate.

Statement from Jon Lansdown + SC&T reply

Kids should be in the Atyeo nearest the Dolman side this gets them closer to the pitch and stops the away fans having more than there 10% or whatever its they are allowed.
