  1. Why dont the club send out an email announcement .. or do i just not get the email.?
  2. Sense has prevailed , at last it makes feasible for a car full to use the service. Great news.
  3. Yes and i was in Greece watching it and i will be again....!!
  4. Not the gate but we went to Elton John at Cardiff on Saturday and that was certainly not how to put on a concert. Forty minutes to get in with one man tearing each individual ticket , big queues for drinks once inside and no food offerings whatsoever if you wanted it. An utter shambles if i have ever seen one , certainly wouldn't go back there through choice . The wife who went to TT at the gate said it was no comparison and made Cardiff look like the 3rd world which it is .. Just goes to show what a great job @Mkelly and his team have achieved at the Gate. Big round of applause for all involved .
  5. I would park right down the end of coronation road as close to the bonded warehouse/safestore as possible and then walk across the park. Make sure you are pointing in the right direction to go down Jessops underpass and then up and out onto the Portway for a quick exit after the concert.
  6. Just taken a look at this as my Mrs is going with her mates , one of her mates hubbys is picking them afterwards at the drop/collect point. Seeing its at Sainsburys i got a feeling he will struggle to get there particularly with Winterstoke Rd closed. He doesn't know Bristol as he is from Hereford and he will be relying on SatNav to get to collection point , coming in from Wales i am pretty sure it will try to send you in from AG end. Will have to get a message to him to go through the City , looks like he will learn Bristol ...
  7. Last time I went I parked over by Babcocks the only issue was it took about half hour to get out after the game.
  8. Just get smart iptv app on your smart tv and a subscription off eBay that covers iFollow (efl)and you're sorted plus you will get loads of other content as well. Cost you about £20-30 for a year.
  9. Only been once myself all season , as you say far easier to sit at home and watch on TV particularly over the next few months with the cold weather. I May go back when it gets warmer but with the parking issues i may not.
  10. Only one person to blame and that’s Gordon Brown, he totally opened up the gambling industry when in power. where as every other country in the modern world was clamping down on it . I remember particularly at the time how Australia were clamping down and just couldn’t believe what we were doing in the UK. They had seen all those issues we are now talking about ... If only we had known... Thanks Gordon .
  11. My only moan about this membership scheme is that they say you get priority purchase on tickets which you probably do, but then they dont email you to tell you when the priority ticket sales start. So unless you look at the ticket site every day you will never know. Also while i mention tickets why are there so many empty seats when you watch the games on TV but when you go to buy a ticket there are very few available. Are there really that many season ticket holders that dont attend the games ...?
  12. You have made some good and valid points in this thread but what i will say is try buying seats when you only know at the last minute and theres only singles or obstructed view ones available. We have now ended up not going to games and also with the parking issues its easier just not to bother ...
  13. There needs to be a scheme where season ticket holders can sell back their ticket for games they cant attend. That way you would get more season ticket holders as people dont buy one as they cant go to games mid-week/Friday/Sunday (like myself) and also will give people looking to buy tickets a better choice of seat.
  14. Does anyone know how bad the view is actually restricted in row 13 Dolman ? Can you see both goals and edge of pitch or is there a concrete wall or perspex in front of you?
  15. I personally have no interest in joining the singing section but i do think it needs expanding as most of the time when i am sat in Dolman e33 i cant hear anything , only time i hear anything is when there is an all round COYRs.
