  6. Yes. My friend paid £11.55 for a medium glass of white (something) in a bar in Worcester last May. Those kinds of prices are quite common these days, though I think it does depend on the establishment and of course the wine. I paid £6.50 for a medium white wine (can't remember what kind exactly) in the BFI on London's Southbank last summer. I made a note of the price after my friends horror of cost of wine in Worcester.
  7. he'd get to play at Old Trafford, Emirates though…or at least trying their changing rooms to begin with
  8. I had to! People calling it cringey, I thought it was ok. Not knowing the full history or having watched all the TikTok videos it's parodying, of course, but I get the picture.
  9. I dunno, I think the irn bru in the fridge was funnier. And the Nahki wells Christmas card one. I hope we’ve got Aardman on standby… ?? (that signing would’ve had to be in the pipeline for a long time ??)

  11. Or cheese fondue, or tartiflette if you want something different ?
  12. Yes skiing diet of cheese, ham, bread or ham, bread, cheese, or even bread, cheese and ham. ? lovely!
  13. You know, the last time I had anything that resembled a proper French baguette it was from The Spar. That was some time ago. Baguettes in the UK are usually too chewy and heavy. This is bringing back memories of one of the best sandwiches ever, up the slopes near in Val Thorens. Roast beef and sun blush tomatoes…or smoked salmon and cream cheese. Yummy. I think the quality of the bread made it.
  14. I never got one of those…
