  1. I see what you did there. Subtle..........
  2. Lovely gesture. Maybe the club should name a stand after her. Ah, hold on.........
  3. I've been following England home & away since 1996, & only missed a few games, probably up at the 200 game mark. Believe me the number of England fans being great ambassadors vastly outnumbers the idiots on every single trip. Unfortunately that doesn't sell newspapers or make good TV ("16000 England fans have a great time with the locals" - not going to make the headlines is it). As a club, does BCFC have to odd few that want some? Yes we do. Does it represent the rest of us? No it doesn't. We have a national issue with idiots. Go into any city / town / village in the UK & there's always a couple of nobs wanting a fight or behaving unacceptably. Does it represent the vast majority of night time revellers? No. Unfortunately the press want to make the same % following the England team representative of us.
  4. I'm hoping for a convenient away game next season <<----------- .
  5. Today at work has been a bit tedious though <<-----------
  6. Are there no teams in Scotland now? Stops Celtic winning 9 in a row I suppose............
  7. 18.4 million https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48206875
  8. I'd rather Leeds went up, because for next season's away trips that's one of the worst out of the way.
  9. ........better not! Admin!!!

Look at last season's table & who finished 1 place below us. Some thinking it could have been so much better this season, but it clearly could have been so much worse. What happened to Norwich by the way? 11. Anyone know where this classic thread has gone? It's not in the archives & a search in the main part of the forum gives nothing. Can anyone find it please? Boo!!!!
  12. Way better than anyone would have expected. We go again.......
  13. I started in there in the mid-1980's. It was as you describe it week in, week out. Supposedly the bad days for English football. Never had so much fun in my life as in football grounds back then.
  14. Those of us from the inside looking out know that you mean a Bristol City win
