  1. Johnson says the reason Eliasson doesn’t start regularly is because he doesn’t fit the system. I’m sorry but it’s time to **** your system and find a new one where he fits it. The lack of creativity without him is painful.
  2. Starting to believe SL doesn’t believe we’d survive in the prem and doesn’t want to deal with parachute payments/FFP over the years to follow!
  3. The Wolves effect has struck once again!
  4. Can’t see anything topping the promo prior to the Preston game.. “Adults from just £34”. Madness.
  5. Not even Pep could work that out
  6. Tonight was up there with the worst I’ve ever seen. Utterly abysmal, and I don’t see us improving any time soon.
  7. Everyone awful bar O’Dowda. A special mention goes to Diedhiou, absolute clown. I feel sorry for Matt Taylor.
  8. No hard feelings from me that he’s going. Clearly it’s been a long time coming and he’s been somewhat a short term legend for us. All good things must come to an end. I’m more bothered about losing a big personality within the team and a proven leader amongst the squad.
  9. I think the crest and BS logo look too close together/central. Has the potential to be a decent strip but it’s a no from me.
  10. Forgive me for my lack of business knowledge here.. I’m sure he’s sold a large amount of his shares in the last few years. Regardless of his now 10% stake equalling 1 billion, surely this isn’t good for Steve in the long term? I’d imagine HL is generating more profit than City, so is he not ultimately sacrificing consistent profit/assets to fund the development of city/Bristol sport? What part of his strategy am I missing here?
  11. Can't see him going anywhere other than the prem..
  12. Apologies that this isn't city related (admin - please advise or move to the correct section of the forum if there is one) but... The Bristol Rugby rebrand has reminded me of the infamous crest change in 2005 when Cotterill modelled that awful primary school strip and it was quickly reversed. My question is do you think Lansdown will accept they've made a mistake and do another U-turn as he did with city? I've not read one positive comment about the proposed change. IMO it's on par with the Leeds crest monstrosity. I have 0 interest in rugby, however my grandad has been a ST holder at the gate for 69 years. Knowing how disgusted he would be if we rebranded I can't help but have sympathy for BR fans. No warning, no communication with the fans and ultimately a lack or respect for the people that matter most to the club. Let's hope he doesn't get bored with BCFC any time soon.
  13. Anything less than 1.5/2m would be a joke. Look at Jordan Rhodes..
  14. Maybe he's done this purposely for Lansdown to see, in the hope that he realises we need to do what's possible to keep hold of JET. 99.9% chance I'm wrong but here's hoping.
