  1. Man attends PR event of Lansdown owned company, which has the sole intention of promoting said Lansdown owned company, in the presence of the Lansdown family, and in audience of the Lansdown family, and the next day the man tells everyone about how wonderful the Lansdowns are because they attended an event in honour of a Lansdown owned company that told him how wonderful they are.
  2. Got today's in two go's. You reds.
  3. They can't accurately predict the weather for tomorrow, let alone 9 days time.
  4. The defender didn't commit a foul so no penalty. It really should be that simple.
  5. I will never read a thread titled "Chris Martin" and not have the piano intro to Clocks immediately play in my head.
  6. I wonder how many more incidents of this nature will have to happen before professional football wakes up and realises it has a particular problem with this kind of thing. Far too many incidents for such a small group of men. And we certainly don't get to hear about everything that goes on either.
  7. I would also say it's encouraging that Pearson's aimed some vitriol at the officials of late. I think he finally has a team of players he believes in and wants to protect.
  8. He didn't actually. And it's fairly well documented that Ranieri wasn't keen on Kante to begin with.
  9. I think Schmeichel is slightly better informed about what went on at Leicester than you. His opinion carries a fair bit of weight as far as I'm concerned. A bit more than Marc Albrighton's girlfriend.
  10. I know Giuseppe, he's been there for years. Very much classic Italian cooking but good. You should try Moltobuono!59 on Park St! Also great classic Italian (Sardinian) pasta dishes and pizzas.
  11. Since Atkinson and King went off on Saturday we've looked the best we have done all season.
  12. They may not be at Kenilworth Rd for too much longer. They've completed a land deal which should see them start work quite soon on a new 23,000 seater stadium in the centre of Luton: New Luton Town stadium moves closer after land sale - BBC News The site is about a mile east of Kenilworth Rd. Good to see a new stadium in a central location, instead of being out-of-town.
  13. That's sad to hear. I saw him performing with Get The Blessing in the Colston Hall foyer a few years back. Very talented sax player for sure.
  14. Bears really impressive second half. Will be seeded for the draw for the first knock out game which means we face one of the teams placed 5-8th in pool A. Currently, could be one of Exeter, Glasgow, Sale or Clermont. Home and away fixture in April.
  15. He has been training with us. Very popular player at Norwich.
  16. Definitely elements of Fargo. If you liked The Tourist then highly recommend seasons 1-3 of Fargo. About as good as crime drama gets.
  17. FWIW, I have heard the same with Decimo re: style over substance. The one I really want to get to is Sabor.
  18. Yep, would agree with the reviewer that mentions an overuse of soy on the dishes too! The reason for the change is that Casamia owner Pete Sanchez has opened a new restaurant in London and so he now has Zak Hitchman running Casamia. Zak (who comes round and speaks to each table) used to work at Michelin-starred Ynyshir in Wales, and that's where Casamia takes its influence from. I suppose for context on price. Dinner only at Ynyshir is £300, nearly double the price of Casamia! Ynyshir - Michelin Star Restaurant Wales, Restaurant and Rooms
  19. It was like the writers didn't know when to end it. It felt like the final episode had about four endings and they didn't know which one to use, so they just threw them all in and hoped for the best! Interesting apparently Hugo Weaving (The Matrix, went to Wraxhall school) was supposed to play the Aussie cop but had to pull out a week before filming started.
  20. I think the price point is just all wrong. They should have started it off at a much lower price and built up a reputation from there. Because it is so different I'd still recommend it as an experience; and to try the food. However, I'd be much more proactive in recommending it if it was half the price, so say £90 pp for a tasting menu.
