  1. Hi pal, drop me a PM with your details. Will double check they've been sent
  2. Hi Jordan, Not particularly interested in getting in to a virtual war of words. Though I will add that you're assumption that I'm involved in the organisational side of S82 is extremely shrewd. Especially considering the subject of most of my posts on here (congrats on picking up on my extremely subtle 'profile picture' too). Therefore I'm sure you'll find it no surprise that comments such as 'S82 are trying to create some Palace ultra shit with the new songs ' will carry a certain 'personal' weight behind them.. The offer of a pint still stands, maybe drop me a PM if you'd like to have a chat. Have a good one .
  3. Hello again, Jordan. We get it, you like certain songs better than others. What a very unique position for you to take.. Here's another unique idea for you. Sing them then. The 'old school' songs are 'started' and enjoyed by us, just as often (if not more), than these ULTRA songs you so despise. Though I gather your ticket is in our block(s), so I'm sure you're aware of that already. We're always open to ideas though, so next time you're passing come and have a chat. Or pop in to the Spanish Bar next game and we'll grab you a beer. Cheers
  4. Cheers Kivsy, We'll definitely have plenty out on Saturday, but unfortunately lots of the 2 poles have 'grown legs' over the last couple of seasons so are a little depleted on that front for the moment, we have got an order hopefully to be fired off in the next month though. We've also got a big display planned for the Swansea game which if all goes to plan should be a good one!
  5. It's no secret that over the first half of this season the atmosphere in our corner, as well as Ashton Gate on the whole has been noticeably flat when compared to that of last season. Granted, City haven't excelled to the same levels on the pitch either (yet), but that shouldn't be an excuse for the noise in the stands to be any less. LJ and the players have said repeatedly how much the noise generated in AG can push the team on. Although we didn't ultimately get the result we wanted, the Stoke game earlier this season is a perfect example. The second half was a constant wall of noise, and but for some world class goalkeeping on the day, the result would undoubtedly have swung in our favour. The Norwich and most recently Rotherham games also come to mind. When we stick with the players, there's no doubt that their performances lift with it. In English Football we've all witnessed the corporate sanitisation inside grounds, soulless bowls that cater more towards a tourist experience than that of the life and blood of every club - the fans. Although we all know that over the last 5 years AG has changed drastically from the ground that we all hold fond memories of, there's no need for it to go the same way. Regardless of the change in layout/position (for 90 minutes at least) we, as that life and soul, still have the power to make the experience what we want it to be. Of course that ideal will vary for everyone and we fully respect that. But for S82 (and we'd hope the majority of those that stand with us in S25 & S26) that is to be vocally and visually supportive for whichever 11 players are out there wearing our beloved Red & White. We'll continue to provide the platform for that support, but we as a group are only a part of the South Stand. We've never claimed to speak or act on anyone else's behalf and are always open to ideas. Therefore we'd encourage any fans that would like to be more involved with S82 to get in touch - drop us a DM on here or come and see us in the ground. Regardless of which part of the ground you sit in, let's take the Bolton match this Saturday as an opportunity to remind ourselves what a buzzing Ashton Gate can be like, on and off the pitch! The players have been doing their bit, now let's do ours - who knows where it'll take us! COYR S82
  6. Drop me a message mate, we'll sort something out
  7. Sorry, bit slow off the mark today - as others have kindly pointed out though we do now have some for sale on our newly 'Live' website - www.section82.co.uk There will be more added over the next couple of weeks too! As has also been mentioned they remain on sale in the Spanish Bar on match days. Cheers!

    Weimann song

Agree it doesn't quite flow right, bit of fine tuning required
  9. Great pic, we actually had this made into a 2 pole flag in one of the first batches done. Unfortunately (like quite a few since) it grew legs and ran away...
  10. 100% of the flags/banners/displays produced over the last 4 seasons have been done so from designs in our own image and with our own ideas, something which we will of course continue to do. However we wanted to take the opportunity to give others an input - partly as I'm sure there are some great ideas out there not yet considered by ourselves, but also (and perhaps more importantly) to make sure that those that have kindly contributed and continue to support us have the opportunity to have a meaningful input as well. I could certainly list some of our ideas if people think that would be helpful, but what we're looking to do is add to the ideas we already have not replace them..
  11. Evening all, We're in the process of finalising the designs for our next order of flags/banners and wanted to make sure that those that have kindly continued to contibrute financially (you guys) had an input too! Therefore I'm after some ideas from you...! I think the best way to do it would be to ask that all (serious) ideas are posted in this thread and we'll run a poll or similar to whittle it down to 5 (or so) designs to run with this time. The flags in question will be 10ft by 5ft, so design files would need to be 1500x1000 pixels minimum (if you're like me and haven't got the know how/patience to produce the designs yourself, just post your idea and we'll get someone to bring it to fruition). All ideas welcome, although if we could keep it (relatively) serious/productive that would be ideal! Cheers!
  12. To echo @Harry's last post. Thank you to all that have contributed - either via the crowdfunding link, through purchasing T-Shirts/Scarves (or both!) as well as the offers of help when it comes to setting up displays etc. All greatly appreciated! We're obviously chuffed that we've hit the page 'target' (so quickly as well) but of course additional contributions would still be brilliant!
  13. A debate that has long lingered within our ranks mate.. I think ultimately 1897 was decided on in order to marry up with the current club badge. Not to say it wont be revisited in the future though..!
