  1. I will look a fool if I’m wrong! Charlton away Boxing Day, PNE home last game.
  2. Live on Sky first up, Birmingham away second game
  3. Thought for a minute Wayne would have to be interviewed for every management job in the EFL! Good move in my view although I do worry that when some BAME candidates are successful there will be accusations of quota filling
  4. Not sure how much truth there is in this but was told by a contact that a couple of players have been at AG for talks this week, don’t know who but be good if things are lined up.
  5. Played against Steve Lansdown and with Scotty Murray, two very different techniques!
  6. Unleash all the fire and fury we can muster. Palmer, Elliason, Fam, Weimann, Paterson and Taylor from the start. 5-0 up at half time, Derby and Boro see this and crumble in fear - job done!
  7. Agree with what you’re saying if someone like Gayle was brought in to complement what we’re doing, but not at the expense of the what we’re doing if that makes sense.
  8. Interesting, reinforces the point that chucking huge amounts of money at it won’t necessarily bring you success. Perhaps not signing the likes of Gayle and Gray were a blessing in disguise and using that money to sign younger more unproven talent with potential as well as bringing through more youth players is serving us well. Also clear the players we sign are of a very similar character, no big egos anymore which I think has shown in the excellent team spirit we currently have. Regret lumping money on Stoke to win the league!
  9. Lower crowds do seem to improve the atmosphere sometimes. Only 250 of us if that at Boro on Tuesday but we didn’t stop singing all night, let’s hope for the same tomorrow...result and atmosphere rather than 250 city fans!
  10. as it’s only Wigan I’m confident if anything happens to Max then LJ himself could go in goal, sitting in a deckchair with a can of Natch in his hand. 5-0 city!
  11. Flint is / was very similar to Shaun Taylor. Bit of a legend and a leader and a goal scorer but wow Webster is so much better than both. John Stones ish
