  1. Yes it's unfortunate, but players get injured in training all of the time. Are you suggesting Manning played him despite being told he shouldn't by the medical team? Also, you seem to be suggesting that his ideas should be adopted instantly by the players. Is that realistic?
  2. Yes, Mrs Turnip and I went a few months ago. Was superb. Yes it's expensive but, the food was faultless and a really nice atmosphere and great staff. Well worth it
  3. So are these stats an example of a trend / common theme? Or have you picked the worst one's you could find?
  4. Indirectly yes. Far to cowardly to say it directly.

Not sure I agree with this. Weren't some saying the same about Pring when he was having no involvement? Just think it's the way NP deals with certain situations, whether it be attitude, commitment or whatever. Hopefully he'll rise to whatever challenges he's been set and he'll come back a more effective player.
  6. Rules generally are though - it's kind of the point! In your scenario people will argue about whether the majority of the player was in front or not, the same as they argue if it's based on clear daylight, or based on the foot etc. The point is whichever way you want to define offside, you either except there will be mistakes or you use VAR to reduce the mistakes from happening.
  7. How do you define "clearly see" though? Wherever you draw the line it will still need VAR to determine whether it's offside for the close calls. I think the reason was human error. Need to look at control measures to stop it happening again.
  8. You do realise it's possible to like someone, but still criticise some of their actions right?
  9. Woods has been a Whiskey bar since the day it opened. Not been there for years so don't know if they've changed it in other ways.
  10. Well yes, obviously. I was wondering how you formed that opinion.
  11. You keep saying this, but why do you think that? It not crazy to think he may prefer a season of regular games in the prem so the bigger clubs can see what he can do, then possibly move again. If he goes straight to a big club he runs the risk of not playing, then having to move to a lesser club to get games.
  12. Ah, I've not been there since they were a pop-up in Kong's - will have to go back. Would recommend trying Danny's Burgers - they are a pop-up/mobile based at Fierce & Noble's tap room. Very tasty. For me, the best burgers by a mile were at Chomp - sadly no longer around.
  13. What did you think? I went a couple of weeks ago and had the Pablo - thought it was excellent. Fries are OK, chicken wings are great. Would say slightly on the pricey side, especially the beers, but probably standard for CV restaurants. Would defo go back again.
  14. It was a double. That's a fact. Your opinion is irrelevant in this instance.
  15. "In June 2021, a prequel film was announced to be in active development" on Wiki - not sure what the latest is...
  16. The sound on that film is incredible. Always use the blu-ray to show off the home cinema!
  17. You can criticise a player with meaning you're making them a scapegoat. I like Wiemann, but I can't see how anyone can say he had a good game yesterday. His passing was poor and it was made to look even worse by the fact we were in dangerous positions and we could have had more chances had he been more composed. Could say the same about Tanner and Dasilva's crossing too - awful. If we can get better at all that, I think we'll be a force.
  18. To be fair, we don't know whether @Red-Robbo has underestimated Harry or not yet. Let's hope he has!
  19. Ah sorry, I thought you were arguing that he went for the ball. See what you are saying now.
  20. I've no idea whether he denied it or not, but I'm not sure a player denying it means that based on his word he therefore must have been going for the ball..... Especially when the video clearly shows to anyone an intentional kick out and contact with the player.
  21. Suggests it's not a manger problem then doesn't it and that Conte maybe quite right with his comments.
  22. I went to Marmo earlier this year. Has a lovely bistro vibe to it and the staff and wine are excellent. I though the food was great too, but they do like to play with some odd combinations (on the menu we had at least) which I guess could end up being a bit hit and miss depending on your taste! Would recommend though - definitely worth a try, we had a lovely evening there. Want to try Pasta Ripiena next door too....
