  1. And I couldn’t give a toss. The FA Cup has had almost no meaning for at least a decade now. This result means about as much as a pre season friendly. The manager knows it, the players know it. This result shouldn’t have the slightest bearing on how we judge LJ and the team. Im sure some old folks on here will try and tell me the FA Cup is a proud competition etc. But really, it’s a relic. I want LJ gone as much as anyone. But this doesn’t provide the slightest bit of ammo
  2. You would need to be seriously good defensively to support that front 4. We are not.
  3. Tbf he could play for Watford without having to move his family from Fulham

My cringeometer doesn’t have go high enough
  5. We’ll just have to see. I can see Moore has some talent, don’t get me wrong but I can’t see him becoming a PL quality CB. He's too frail. I can’t find any reference to him captaining England u23s
  6. You are right I can come across as very negative. I think this internet lark brings out my grumpy side. Bullocks
  7. Only due to I buries. He doesn’t make the first choice XI (well, let’s hope not eh?)
  8. I’ve been following City for many a year, and whenever there is a downward trend in performance and results it it always matched by an increase in posts praising whomever isn’t in the first XI. Over the years I’ve seen Matty Taylor lauded as a future England contender, Paul Anderson as a PL level player and Brian Wilson as the missing piece of a jigsaw. Taylor is a decent youngster, but he’s not setting the Championship on fire any time soon. Stop kidding yourself with comparisons to Flint

“Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.” - Lee Johnson, talking on how he scouts the opposition team “Sometimes I’ll start a sentence, and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way.” - Lee Johnson reveals his approach to team talks "Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me." - Lee Johnson reflecting on why he isn’t as loved as he feels he ought to be

    Jack Grealish

So I just checked with Jack and he has confirmed: a) he doesn’t care if we think he’s a scumbag b) he also thinks the oh-so-typical rush to show moral superiority is tiresome too
  12. I would still have him in the team over JD. I know that's controversial, but Jay is more reputation than substance at this stage Imo
  13. I spent the first 12 years hiding in a tree in the back yard. It’s not at all glamorous being on the lamb you know
  14. What is the significance of the picture?
  15. Cheers, got in just in time
  16. My point wasn't that the attendance was high, it was that it was barely different to the last game Just winds me up when people make things up and try and pass them off as fact
  17. 26,058 against Charlton 27,782 tonight
  18. "The Plan" is also being propped up by a very good run of player sales. The problem is City are running out of players to flog for £10m plus and to think we can just go out and grab some more is foolish.
  19. No they dont. I was with some pals just the other day who have never seen City play (and have no interest in them really) and they all thought he sounded arrogant, that he thinks he is a Champions League manager with the way he talks. He is the David Brent of managers Fits into small spaces?
