Enjoyable day, strange too . I knew we would win , not even a second thought, we just would. It was more a celebration of the season.
What really made the day . We caught the train and into Harrow ( I think) found a pub and settled in . Then a coach of lads I used to go to football with, 30 odd years before , turned up . Got a photo similar to one outside the Ship and Castle with 5 of us both .
Then the train was delayed, because some ******** got stuck in the toilet , it took 3 1/2 hours to get back.
Good day though.
I knew we’d win too. I also distinctly remember leaving and thinking ‘that’s just the start, we’ll be back soon’. We were so dominant and there was such a good feeling about the club.
How wrong I was.

Have a mate who supports Newcastle. Texted me today as it's 14 years since Bristol City 2-2 Newcastle (Maynard screamer). I had a look at the BBC match report from the time: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/8572371.stm
And I had a look at the table:
We're 1 point better off today, and 2 places better off. Some progress in 14 years. So depressing.- 4

Would relegation really be that bad? It would be so embarrassing and catastrophic for the leadership of the club that maybe we might actually see a significant change in the way we do things.

This style of football necessitates results. Otherwise it’s pure, unadulterated shite.

Terrified we give him another transfer window, millions of pounds, and sack him 10 games into next season

I think we're stuck in a vicious circle now. If Manning had been appointed 10, 5 or even 3 years ago I think people would be prepared to be a lot more patient. But as fans we've been waiting so, so long for a period of even moderate success at this level now (16 years since we reached the playoffs for flip's sake). And I for one can't be bothered to give Manning 2 and half years to maybe sort it out.
I booed them off the pitch on Saturday – honestly, not aimed at anyone or anything in particular. Maybe you can call it petulant. But I was just booing the club and the state of affairs we find ourselves in, again. It's rubbish, and boring and I don't think I'm the only one completely fed up of it.- 8

Bristol City now throwing everything and the kitchen sink at 10 man Wednesday!!
Only joking. We’re knocking it around the defence.

I paid their striker a disservice for their 2nd goal, that was some header.
How on earth is Annis still on? He was shite!
Has he been anything other than ranging from anonymous to frustrating in his career here? Manning continuing to pick him really makes me question Manning.

Yeah this is poor. Mehmeti offers absolutely nothing.

I live in Sheffield these days. Any other City fans in this city?

Now it would just be so Bristol City to get 1 point or so out of QPR and Sheff Wed…

Hull now beating Rotherham. A shame as far as my play off fantasies concerned.

Miilion pound on the line or not if someone offered me a win tonight OR Saturday I would take Middlesbrough all day long to be honest. I might be in a minority of one but it's the league results that need addressing.
Respectfully disagree! The league is over already. Far rather get through to the 5th round and play a good occasion v Man U

Any sort of success now, it’s getting desperate. Trophy or promotion.

Brrrristol.
Never hear any of these nowadays. But let’s be honest, we generally have eff all to get excited about. If we ever had a really good season chasing the autos I’m pretty sure the atmosphere would be a lot better.

The commentators said during the amazing Bears v Bath match on Saturday how much they enjoy coming to AG because of the crowds and atmosphere.
Bears must attract the best attendance in the PL.
This comment prompted me to read the BBC match report for that game. One thing stood out for me:
Bristol boss Pat Lam told BBC Radio Bristol:
"[Owner] Steve Lansdown had a quiet word to me about playing the Bears way, he wanted to be excited about the way we play and I said I'd see what we can do. I think he will have been excited by that performance.
Not sure if this was picked up elsewhere on OTIB? I wonder whether Lansdown has ever had a 'quiet word' with Bristol City managers about wanting them to play a certain way...?

Not really, when we’re already safe and marooned in midtable for the 4th, 5th season in a row.
We should be desperate to see some good performances. Who gives a ctap about adding another point at this point.
