I like Pearson's approach to the overall running of the football side of the club and he's had a positive effect so I'd want to keep him at least until the end of the season, if not longer. But I suspect while he's good at instilling values he's also stubborn & possibly not so great at motivating the modern sports professionals, we've seen how cantankerous he can be in interviews & when back's are against the wall that attitude is a risky approach. My preference would be to create a role for Pearson away from match day / day to day with squad & promote Euell into the Head Coach role until the end of the season, give him the freedom to make cultural, tactical & personnel decisions, get a buzz amongst the team. I get the impression the squad have a lot of respect for him. So no, Nigel shouldn't walk but he could take the lift upstairs.

I know your just angry but talk about cut your nose off despite your face. Semenyo has a good WC his value goes up & comes back full of confidence ready help us get to safety & then leaves in the summer at a decent fee. if he has a slight knock or niggle he will no doubt be trying not to aggravate as you would too if you were playing at the same level. a lot of PL teams are having similar issues with availability due to an awkwardly timed World Cup in Qatar. Down to the manager to recognise that and select the best team for the game.

All well & good but come the end of the season we’ll lose some of our best players, which halts the progress & we’re back to square one. There’s no way we keep Scott & Semenyo, very possible Conway interest & Wells OOC. We have potential this season but it’s not transpiring into results & unless we go on an almighty run after the WC it will be more of the same. Can’t fault the players efforts in most games but we really are a frustrating team.

Good idea, but there’s a strange obsession about stating 11’s in football. Being a squad player doesn’t seem as acceptable as it is in Rugby, especially when changes aren’t made unit 70-80 min mark. Semenyo from the bench is a strong tactic but he’ll be pushing for an Exit by Jan, so it won’t happen. I’d give Weiman a break and try Semenyo in there for a few games & bring the Conway / Wells partnership another start.

We’re almost always terrible against Millwall at home & it was a real “something & nothing” performance from us today. Went in hoping for a decent result but deep down knowing it was probably going to be a tough, physical match we wouldn’t win. We’ll bounce back but missing Naismith dictating our play.

Really? Before the queen dies we’re playing well & getting decent results. Preston game gets called off Play well against Norwich & Burnley but lose. Since then we’ve had a few dodgy results & lost Naismith bringing the ball out. Today was crap, no question but it’s a bit soon to be burning your session ticket Alan. Sleep on it & you’ll be fine tomorrow. As a city fan you must be fairly experienced when it comes to runs of playing badly.
