  1. 356 isn't bad considering how poor they are at the moment, we've took similar numbers to Oldham in the past.
  2. Give me a greasy spoon any day. Eggs, bacon, beans, toast and tea. No halal in sight.
  3. Honest answer - day before Easter Sunday with friends - quorn chicken strips - some sort of methi dish.
  4. All religions, including ones that are enlightened or backward should be scrutinised in the same light. That does not mean that all Religions are the same, they do not have some sort moral equivalence. Religions espousing inhumane treatment of animals, children, women or gay people should be condemned and have no place in our civilised society.
  5. Most modern factory farming methods are disgusting. I don't like halal, I don't like kosher, I don't like battery farming either. I think it is a positive thing that people are starting to reject the dominance of halal meat. Liberal left types should be calling for a total ban on non-stunned animal slaughter - not pandering to some backward religion.
  6. This arguement that if you don't want halal then you are racist is nonsense. If you think all animals deserve the same humane treatment then you will logically come to the conclusion that halal is unacceptable.
  7. I was outside Tooting Broadway the other day. The subway there only served Turkey Ham. Bastards.
  8. Weird island owning Telegraph owners? Thought they were big Tories.
  9. I agree, it's over now, let it rest. The Crimea issue is a ripple from the decolonisation of the soviet empire. Russia is protecting its own kith and kin. We did the same with the Falklands and should have done so for the Rhodesians in Zimbabwe.
  10. I am impressed with Nick Clegg's language skills - say what you like about him in about four of five languages - he will understand you. That's pretty cool.
  11. What about Winnie Mandela's football team? Remember them?
  12. English football should just concentrate on English football. There are other arenas for discussing events of sociological or political interest. There are too mamy of these sentimental silences or minutes applauses these days. They are mostly all bullshit. Everybody is going to die one day. He's been brain dead for some time.
